Verifiedhow many readings per battery change
Hi Laurie, There are approximately 300 measurements for a normal reading. If you get a low battery symbol please replace all 4 batteries with 4 brand new good quality batteries. If you have any further queries please contact us on free call 1800 807 464. Thank you.
Even with new alkaline batteries unit will FREQUENTLY show E or EE errors. Past it's use by date?
I think I've had mine about 7 years. I've had E or EE a few times, fixed when I've changed the batteries. I've got a small battery tester, so I can make sure that the new batteries are full. I hope this helps.
My machine not show correct bp it show empty. Any ideas?
how any readings are used for average, please?
Hi, I have an Omron Sem-2 blood pressure monitor that has been working fine to date however just recently it started turning itself on automatically ie. it is turned off and it just turns itself on automatically and registers and "E" message and turns itself back off. This is ongoing. Can anyone offer suggestions
Can a model SEM-2 be checked for accuracy and/or calibrated
My Omron automatic blood pressure monitor model sem-2(hem-7051-c1) . I bought it 10 years ago and I am not sure if it's working properly or not even if I change the battery. Can anyone tell me if this product should be replace? My doctor tell me my pressure is high and when I take it at home is normal or sometimes very low, I'll appreciate your comments and suggestions. Hi nancy you may have white coat syndrome, my wife and I have it ,it's when you are affected by surgery anxiety,it affects many people and thats why in many cases higher readings can be had at the doctors surgery.
To check your monitor take it to the doctors and check it with the doctors monitor to verify your monitors accuracy.
Yes I already took my monitor to the Doctor and said it's ok. Thanks
