Painless and effective relief – Like other reviewers have found this to be an effective relief for constipation. Tasteless and supposedly can take within juice, coffee/tea etc but found it perfectly alright in water. Slight thick consistency but that is all. Was told by my GP to take it daily or as often as required - adjusting the dosage to get effective management of constipation. Recommended by the gastroenterologist.

take a small scoop each evening for regularity. Osmolax is safe for long-term use, which is good. And good value, a large tub with 49 large doses or 98 small doses is $20 at Chemist Warehouse. Great value, great results, try it!

Works well and is good value – I was using another brand up until recently which had electrolytes as well in the mix, my pharmacist suggested this product and it works well after a day, it adds bulk to stools and softens them.

Effective and Tasteless! – I have trouble with my constipation. I eat three serves of fruit, six serves of vegetables, enough carbs and fibres every day. They recommended me OsmoLax, an osmotic laxative that has no taste at all. It was a big tub for a cheap price, so I tried it. In one week, my stools were softer and I felt lighter.

As the chemist said, it has no taste whatsoever, if you place it in a drink apart from plain water. It makes me gag. But I poured it in my tea, and the salty, yucky taste went away.

It's got to the point where I only need this once a month now. This is extremely effective to the people who struggle with severe cases of constipation.

Recommended for four-year-olds and over.
