Very light and easy to use. I also have a 36v mower for rough stuff but this is perfect for tight spots. I did have the switch break after a year but easy enough to fix and been good for years since. Not for rough lawns but catches like a vacuum cleaner. Bought on sale Show details

Hunk of junk – Absolute hunk of junk. Conks out every five seconds. Cant even get through a small yard with short grass. Constantly need to tip it upside down to remove the grass caught in it. Have to recharge it half way through. Have to restart it about 50 times a mow. I’ve gotten through one yard mow and about five metres and it’s going in the bin. Absolute worst product I’ve ever purchased

Good value for money – Excellent performance for the price, the battery almost covered my entire front yard which isn’t small! I used two of my smaller batteries to finish the back. Super lightweight so it can be pushed around with one hand. Only issue is the size, it takes twice as many trips up and down the lawn. Otherwise, it’s great for a smaller yard or maybe mowing on hills where you need a lighter mower. Show details

Don't waste your money – Should have listened to my son and avoid this type of mower. Small front yard and can't even do half of it on the charged batteries, take 3 hours to charge batteries, bough another set of batteries, in the mean time I could have bought a much better mower for the money I spend on batteries. 20 min job turns into a whole day! Show details

A cracker of a mower that quite literally punches well above its weight – Bought this Ozito mower a couple of years back as we were no longer able to lug our old Victa up and down the eight concrete steps at the side of our home. While the Ozito looks and feels a little like a toy (indeed that's hubby and I call it), it is a little cracker. You only need one hand to lift it (with the catcher attached) and it does a… Read more

beautiful job on our relatively small but lush coastal lawn. Our one and only criticism is that the battery can be difficult to slide in and out of the housing. The larger battery is an absolute must to give you the oomph and charge needed for the task. Can highly recommend this mower, particularly to those over 60s like me and my man.

Extremely expensive considering lack of performance – The law mower has two significant faults that make it a poor purchase: - the motor is very weak and constantly stops, even with light grass. - the mower is difficult to push forward - so we are pulling it around - because the handle attaches vertically to the body. I don't mind the cheap plastic build quality, that is to be expected, but the lack… Read more

of performance and difficulty of use is disappointing and makes this a very expensive purchase given the lack of performance.

This is a underpowered toy – 120 sq metre lawn, underpowered/gutless for couch grass, tiny catcher means I’m spending more time emptying the catcher than actually mowing. Wasted my money on this one. Show details

Good If Mowing Isn't Your Life – It's a good value mower. I paid $199.00, some 6 months ago. The lawn area at my place is not huge, maybe 110 sqm of lawn to mow and this Qzito does that job well. Light and manueverable, certainly not fancy, and thankfully a small area to mow as the cutting width is an economical 30cm. The 110 sqm of lawn gets done on the one battery charge, I mow… Read more

weekly and keep it on the lowest setting. Battery charge is done within maybe 90 minutes. The catcher assembly is a challenge, but there is a knack to it (persistence pays) and a short, sharp jab to click the pieces together works well (you'll know what I mean when you get there). Blade changes will be easy, 30 cm blade comes out with the turn of a spanner, costs about $20.

If mowing isn't your life, this mower is perfect for the task.

Battery doesn't last – I was told a fully charged battery would last for 40 minutes, but it only lasts 20 minutes. Not long enough to mow much. Disappointing. Show details

Brand New can't even start ! – Brought a Ozito 36V Cordless Lawn Mower today from Bunning, Paid $399, take home put everything together and charging the battery, 3 hours later battery was full on power, put it in and the Mower won't start , take it back to Bunning the manager of Bunning couldn't start the mover either, so i change it to Ryobi , not sure Ryobi work out fine for me tomorrow , my worst boxing day shopping. Show details

Be realistic in expectations – Not sure about those last 2 reviews - BTW I’m from Perth also. For the cost, I wasn’t exactly expecting to get a heavy duty mower which would match a petrol-driven one. I have two 50 square metre lawns which were already in quite good condition and just need “maintenance mows”. For this I’ve found this mower ideal - does a serviceable job and is nicely lightweight and maneuverable. Definitely satisfied that I got what I paid for. Show details

Cheap and Nasty unfortunately – Poor design, not made for tall people. You have to manually take grass out of catcher by hand Grass spits out the side of catcher Not good on uneven lawn It’s not as noisy as I expected but the performance doesn’t cut it Show details

Don't waste your time or your money – Ok, so I went into this purchase with scepticism. How good could this product be? But, I knew I wouldn't be asking too much from it... what I expected of it was well within its capabilities judging from the product description. But, this mower is a true lightweight and I don't recommend it even for the smallest of areas. I became concerned from… Read more

the moment I unpacked it... sooooo small, light, flimsy. The cutting width is so narrow that even a small area becomes a big job. Plus, it just doesn't cut well so you need to go over everything two or three times! It struggled to take the tops of the grass, including dandelion flowers and simply pushed them over, finally cutting them on the second or third pass. I'd hate to see it struggle on a thick lawn or on grass that has gotten a bit tall! The unit is light and manoeuvrable with "reasonable" battery life, but it's poor (read terrible) performance tackling the lightest of jobs makes it virtually useless. If you really want to avoid a petrol engine, stick with a corded option like a Flymo. If you really want a battery powered mower, avoid this one and hopefully spending more on a better quality unit might prove worthwhile. But unfortunately, for me, this mower has soured me completely. I'm going to do what I should have done in the first place and bought a decent petrol mower, despite the small area I need to maintain.

Great - OZITO Cordless Eectric Mower. PXC PXLMTK- 4182 comes with 2* 4ha batteries and fast charger – Bunnings delivered this on Saturday (for $375) and put it together myself. Unfortunately I did not push the key in hard enough - so it didn't start. This morning I thought I'd try again as Bunnings had not picked it up as yet. This time I pushed the key in till I heard the click sound. Then I tried it and it worked! I did my front lawn and… Read more

nature strip and then started on the back. It cut through everything but stopped when I tried to cut wet grass on the lowest setting. I raised it and it was fine.

It is light, it is easy to adjust the height setting (which i had trouble with on another electric mower I had). You can use it without or with the catcher. I think doing the lawn will be a pleasure now rather than a pain.

Thank you Ozito. Love it!

Great little mower – Very easy to start and use. It is lightweight and durable. Has been cutting lawns, including one large rough one. Original blades lasted almost a year before needing sharpening. It has performed much better than expected Show details

Good for the price – Good mower and light weight. Does a great job of a small lawn, if you have a larger lawn you will need a spare battery. I wish I had realised that the blade height adjustment is spring loaded and requires you to access underneath the machine and needs quite a bit of strength. For this reason I wouldn't have purchased if I had known. Overall a great cheap little mower that does a good job, and very quiet Show details

It's small but it backs punch! – I bought this lawn mower after I bought an Ozito brush cutter and hedge trimmer in which I was also impressed with. On my first initial assembly of the unit, I was worried about the durability of the catcher as it feels a little flaky however once assembled it was perfect and clipped together nicely. I was somewhat excited to use my new toy… Read more

instantly and lucky for me I could as I already had batteries on charge. Once assembled the unit is light and easy to maneuver and I had very little issues getting around the yard to the point I even just pick up the whole unit by its grab handle.

Now for some pretext, I live on a corner block that's about 750sqm so I don't have just 3 or 4 blades of grass to mow. I have quite an extensive area for a mower of this size. Now, not the little mowers fault as I mean, it does have a small cutting deck, It does take me more time to mow the yard. This is to be expected as I have stated it's much smaller than my petrol one which I still have but choose to use this one. Why did I buy this one if I have a petrol one? Well, my front and rear yard did have a gate between them so I had to unlock the lack gates to put the mower wound in the front to do the front lawn. However, with how light this is, I just carry it through the back room and it doesn't leave any mess as its not touching the ground and I brush it off before use. The test will come in winter when the grass is really thick in my back yard however, I have tested it using the front walkway that the council mow once every eclipse and it was fine. I find my self mowing often with this. I don't know why as my faithful 8-year-old Sanli is still amazing and starts the first time every time but I just seem to enjoy mowing with this!

Now, adjusting the cut height is a little different to normal. You have to turn the unit over and adjust the front and back wheels independently. This for me is not a real big issue as I really only set the height once and that's it really so that for me was just a part of the assembly process and is not a big thing. It might be for some but it really is a small thing for the price of the lawnmower really! Keep your invoice too cause a 5-year warranty is on offer!

very light, suited my small yard – Update Sept 2024, still going well. I sharpened blade with a file. If i put on lowest height I can vacuum the debris from concrete path and driveway. Most other reviews have covered this mower. My yard 9m x 16m was easily done. 3 height adjustments that are a bit fiddly, so I left it on highest setting. Doesn't "vacuum" leaf litter like a petrol… Read more ·  1

mower, for it does not have the angled blade to cause the 'lift'. Picked up lawn clippings fine. I did this cut with damp grass. The catcher a but tricky to assemble, it took 2 people unless you have arms like an octopus. Other assembly easy under 10 minutes. I was rough with it as a demo which bumped the height adjuster. Due to battery location you lose 10cm at nose/front for cutting. My neighbour impressed and bought one too. Catcher capacity was fine. Run time approx 20mins. recharge under 2 hours. Very light item, good for elderly or arthritis once set up. Recommend if small yard. Happy with purchase. Melbourne Australia. *update 3 Jan 2024, still going well, gave the blade a touch up ie sharpen with a file as you should. Have since purchased line trimmer and handheld shears

A lightweight little battery mower that actually does OK – Very lightweight, very easy to manoeuvre. Easy to start. But a bit fiddly to put in and take out the battery, for someone with poor hand co-ordination. Very difficult to change the height setting. I've decided to keep it on one setting all the time. Arthritis in the fingers does not help. The 4.0Ah battery, included, lasts about 20 minutes and… Read more

takes 1h 25m to charge. A second battery might be handy. Ozito batteries are not too expensive. This mower is recommended for lawns up to 150sqm, which is about 20 minutes for me. The catcher, once put together (not an easy task), is a reasonable size, but I might run it without, to save emptying it. It copes with tall grass if you do it slowly and raise the mower to lower it down on to the grass, trimming it as it goes down. Not as easy as a self propelled petrol mower, but at the same price as an annual service for that one, it makes $ sense.

Not bad as your second mower – everything is good except the battery which dies in 20 minutes or less. so if you have extra battery which suits this mower it would be great. I made a video of it which you can watch it on youtube. Show details
