Does Exactly What It Promises – I bought this a little under a year ago - immediately I wished I had bought it earlier - it is so convenient, strong and easy to use. It uses the same batteries I have already for other products.

Safety switch may cause injury to thumb from repetitive strain but the unit as a whole is fantastic! – Bought PXCLTS-0182 today. Use for 10 minutes and regretted the purchase because of the muscle strain put on thumb to hold the safety switch esp trying to do edging. However, after using duct tape to permanently push the safety switch on(This may cause safety issue), the unit becomes a charm. I am impressed with the power and ease of use compared to my old Ryobi petrol trimmer. It trims thick bushy grass like a warm knife through butter. Will give 5 star if Ozito can consider making the head/shaft rotatable to facilitate edging.

Absolutely Dumbfounded – We bought an Ozito PXCLTS-0182 from Bunnings late yesterday. Got it out this morning, to put the Battery on Charge so we could use it. Imagine my surprise to find NO Battery or Charger Unit. I looked the box over and finally found the smallest note advising that it doesn’t come with the unit. You have to Purchase Separately. Why sell a Cordless Line Trimmer without a Battery or Charger. How do the expect you to use it.

Great tool – My wife frequently calls me an edge snob. Every time she would give someone pointers on how to find our house it would include look out for the nature strip with the perfect edges. My obsession has progressed from the old cutting wheel on a pole, to a specific line trimmer used only for the edges as it was designed for edging. This has now been replaced by this unit. I didn’t want a mains powered one after seeing the damage that my father-in-law did to after connecting with some concrete, on multiple units.

This unit is very underpowered so taking it easy the first few times is a must. With regular clearing it will get through the gunk, just allow it to do so. After you have established the edge maintaining it is easy, unless some careless imbecile in a tow truck parks on your nature strip and smooshes everything so you’re back to square one. Or the moronic pedestrians that have stamped down the edge near your driveway by cutting across, instead of using the driveway just to save a fraction of a second.

Just take your time and with regular usage you can have beautiful edges all year round. The kid of edges that allow you to look down upon your neighbours unkempt edges with sense of smug satisfaction.

I use this unit weekly and have has no issues so far. The first few passes had to clear out a heap of dirt and mud as the blade was a lot thicker than my previous tools. After it had achieved this it was so easy to maintain the edges.

Bought For Lawn Edging Next To Paths – Some edges that I never seem to get to that were just looking very messy. I wanted a quick fix and this thing was a knife through butter in June in Sydney with the soil slightly damp. Blade looks simple and easy to sharpen when the time comes for that but they are sub $15 to just replace anyway. I only used the highest setting as that was enough for what I was looking for.

IMO easy from start to finish with not even a cord to worry about and the normally nuisance and time-consuming job I never really bother with was all done in basically one quick pass.

3AH battery on it and for the 25metres or so I had to do I hardly dented it.
