Nailed it! – This bradder/stapler is good for the price. I used it to nail quad around flooring and architraves/skirtings, and it handled that fine if you kept plenty of pressure on the nailer while it's firing, otherwise it leaves a mil or two of the head exposed - no big deal. Also used the staples for putting shade sail around a lattice structure and it worked great for that.
Started great, quickly malfunctioned and was dangerous – Started off great as I was adding some wall beading, simple job and was doing well. After just a few hours of use in total (over a couple of days) the nails would fire off multiple lots WITHOUT touching the trigger. As soon as the tip was compressed, two and three would go in quick succession until it was removed from the wall. Frightening and dangerous.

Pleasantly surprised – This is a solid 2 in 1 Nail and Staple Gun, which fires 18 gauge 16-22mm staples and 18 gauge 15-32mm Brads. The gun runs off an 18V Power XCHANGE battery, it is a good size for getting into relatively tight corners and although it has some nice weight, it is well balanced and not too heavy. I have used this nail gun to attached floor quad trim and to attach the roof and floor to a newly built OATH Hive. The nail gun had no trouble securing the 19mm ply to the hive and it made the install of the floor trim so much easier, and there is force adjustment dial on the gun. The nails do fire off centre slightly to the right. I have no need for heavy duty nail gun such as a Paslode framing gun and I couldn't justify the price of the Ryobi Brad Nailer. Plus the 5 year warranty was a selling point for me, if it does start to play up I can just return it for another one. Overall very pleased with this tool so far.
