Have had this fridge for a couple of years, used a couple of times a year on camping trips. Have had it plugged in for 48 hours now at home, with the small side supposedly in negative temps the whole time, however the ice cream became completely liquid and water bottle not even a little bit frozen. It's also quite poor at maintaining temperature with wild variation around what you set, not even using eco mode or anything. Show details

Ran constantly for several months no issues at all – Bought this second hand but near new and had it constantly running in my camper van for 7 months, includinglast years heatwave. Ran fantastically and still runs now that I have moved into my house. The silver lining is a little patchy at the bottom possibly because of spilt juice sitting in the bottom for several days but that is the only sign of wear and tear. Show details

Happy with product – Very happy with 80l Oztrail DUAL zone fridge freezer so far. Just been off grid for a week and was very happy with the fridge. Only issue was it chewed through power when trying to keep freezer department at minus 10 degrees. Came with excellent cover as part of a deal at Anaconda Strore

worked well for the first 20 months then failed – bought new from anaconda and used it a lot on various camping safaris and it worked well, then suddenly on one outing it would not go below 5 degrees and the compressor kept running. made a warranty claim and after being assessed, to OZtrail's credit they did not quibble and gave me a 100% full refund Show details

Great back up service – I rang Oztrail for advice on my 80L fridge/freezer and was put through to Barry and his advice was spot on without a delay knew his sh.t so I had to give a 5⭐ review of the product and especially Barry's exceptional knowledge of the product without having to look up a manual. Sensational service from the first contact to the eventual advice. Keep up the magnificent work Oztrail, you are employing the right people for the job. Show details ·  1

Excellent value for money – I've been using my oztrail 80 litre dual zone for about three weeks now and I think it's brilliant! It keeps everything cold on fridge side and everything frozen on freezer side, even on the hot days (38+). I filled it with all our meats (vacuum sealed), vegetables, salads, yoghurt, milk, icecream, eggs. Enough for my whole family of 6 for a few… Read more ·  1

weeks, it was full!. The temperature stayed constant at my set temperature of 2 degrees, varying 1-2C above and below the set temperature (freezer side stayed pretty much constant) It has exceeded by expectations considering the few reviews I read! It is heavy when it's all loaded up but you have to expect that considering its size. From empty, it dropped the temperature from 30C to 2 degrees in about 15-30 min, so very good insulation. I powered it via my Hulkpak with a 100ah lithium battery installed which was recharged via my 300 watt folding solar panels. The solar panels would fully recharge the battery in around 6-7 hours with good sunlight. I didn't have to once use my generator in the 3 weeks of use. Only thing I've done is removed the cigarette lighter connection and fitted a 50 amp Anderson plug, as the 12 volt plug felt to get a little warm sometimes but no issues with the Anderson plug! And I've purchased the protective cover for it need to protect the investment if nothing else. My only gripe is it does scratch very easily, and I do recommend purchasing the protective cover if you want to keep it looking good. The LG compressor doesn't seem to use anymore power then the danfoss compressor in my old primus mammoth fridge this replaced
