Palmolive Eco Dishwashing Liquid Lavender and Rosemary

Loved it! – I loved the light fragrance and no allergic reaction. I'm so upset that they've ceased selling this product.

Smell stays on dishes after much rinsing – Only used twice and stopped because the odour was lingering on my dishes. Particularly tupperware still smelt so strongly that I didn't want to store food in afterwards

I have been waiting for this one – Love the perfume, Lavender and Rosemary. It was so good to not have a sneezing episode as soon as the dishwashing started. Highly concentrated so the product lasts well. Always put the liquid in before any water so I can keep an eye on how much I am using. I will be sticking with this for a long time, probably for good.

Good detergent that smells bad – This detergent does a good job. It cleans well, the suds last a long time. I have sensitive skin and it doesn't irritate my skin. The packaging has several environmental claims that appealed to me, and the bottle is made from 100% post consumer waste, which is responsible. On the other hand, The smell is quite unpleasant. Not the Lavender and Rosemary scent, which is fine, but there is an underlying chemical smell, rather like cheap laundry powder. It is very strong, when washing dishes in the kitchen we can smell it in the adjoining lounge room. Also the bottle is rather small - for a product with environmental pretensions, I don't understand why it isn't in one litre bottles. (They are only 500 ml.) Save some packaging! At regular price it is very expensive and I wouldn't buy it. I tried it because it was on special at half price, which made it almost reasonable value.
