Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ100

Best Camera I have had – Spent over two years looking at a replacement for my Ricoh. Of course, by the time I decided, new models were released and I would start again. This one was my choice when I was offered to go on a trip around Australia with other families. So that settled the purchase. I had excellent photos except when the auto focus would focus on the dust on the windscreen instead of the shot I was intending.

From long distance to macro it's a dream. Excellent photos. Excellent zoom. Many accessories available. Very good stabilisers (2). Too big for my pocket. New model has replaced it.

Great pictures, easy to operate with fantastc zoom lens! – Used the camera overseas and interstate and had no problems at all, love the zoom lens. Even with the lens extended, the quality of the picture does not lose detail. Has PASM functions, hot shoe, long lasting battery, not too heavy and can be used on all types of scenery, fireworks, trick shots etc. Records in stereo HD with clarity and clean crisp sound. Great camera for everyday use. Lightweight, quick to operate from shutdown, nice wide angle 25mm lens with 24 x zoom.
