After one year of extensive use my verdict- sadly disappointing – We were after a high end portable camera that could take clear and good photos. We were planning a year’s travel so needed something light and portable with the good quality photos. So after a bit of research and talking to our local camera shop we went for this model. We were sadly disappointed. True the camera had a lot of wizz bang buttons to give a myriad of options but in the key and crucial area of photo quality it was plain disappointing. Photos had poor colour and were often not sharp and were flat. We discovered our cheap (in case of theft) smartphone which we took on our journey took photos that were a better quality than the camera, and the camera was four times the cost of the phone.
For a $800+ camera I would have expected a lot more. After we first started to publish this review we agreed to contact the company first. Their advise was to read the manual. We had already done this many times and the issue was a camera one not an operator one. Anyhow we may have just been unlucky and ended up with a poor model as reviews tend to be quite reasonable for this model..
Purchased in at Camera House for $879.
