We replaced our 20 year old Panasonic ducted air-conditioning system in October 2025 with another Panasonic system and we also added AirTouch5 Zone controller, 5 zones all with zone temperature sensors. We initially had mixed feelings about the system when initially installed. It heated really well, however once setpoint temperature was reached and AC compressor cut out we got a cold breeze. AirTouch Support has been excellent providing expert advice regarding best configuration settings for AirTouch. I also contacted Panasonic support regarding the comfort issues.
In summary, thank you to Mannix Air-conditioning and Panasonic for the excellent customer service and support. Mannix liaised with Panasonic regarding Panasonic’s options for further customisation of settings for Panasonic indoor unit. Changes were made to installation which initially used default settings, settings were customised to work well with Airtouch 5 zoning. Since the customisation of settings I no longer have cold drafts during heating, house very comfortable. This system is now working extremely well and we are very pleased we purchased another Panasonic ducted airconditioning with NanoeX air purifier.
I highly recommend the Panasonic airconditioning incorporating 3rd party Airtouch5 zoning setup to anyone looking for complete whole of house heating and cooling with NanoeX air purifier.

To Date we are Very Happy with our Panasonic Ducted System HOWEVER – Following the Handover of our property in Brisbane, by the New Home Builder in October 2022, we moved into our home in late November 2022. It would be remise of me not to comment on the FIVE STAR (Excellent), After Sales Customer Service that I received from Panasonic Australia’s Customer Solutions Specialist, Melyssa. These are some of the high lights of our Panasonic Deluxe Ducted System 3 Phase U-200PZH2R8: • Deluxe Three Phase System • Cooling 20.0kw • Heating 22.4kw • To date we have had all year round comfort, from our New Ducted Air Conditioning System. • We found the system to be Energy Efficient, as we also have Solar Power connected. • High Performance for both Cooling and Heating to the 7 Zones in our home. • We used the My Air Wall Mounted Display Controller as it is a Smarter Way to Control the various functions of the system, like single or multi Zone Temperature Settings, Fan Speed, timer settings, Setting specific Temperature Settings of the 7 individual zones contained within our home etc. • We also use the MY AIR Phone App, to control the same functions, but specifically to start the system prior to our arrival home, selecting whether we want the place either warm or cool. • For peace of mind the Panasonic Ducted System comes with a Full 5 year parts and labour warranty

Being a retired Sales/Customer Retail Operations Manager for almost 50 years, I certainly know and appreciate Great Customer Service, where an employee who is the face of her Brand goes all out to assist their Customers. Please do pass on my sincere Compliments to her. Panasonic make Great Products, throughout their range of Consumer Appliances as I have also been involved in that part of the retail industry.
Died, not even two years old, totally unimpressed – Seriously not happy Jan! We forked out a fortune….nearly $20k to have this installed just around two years ago. For the past few weeks it has had an error code, which we reported naturally. Yesterday amid weird clanking noises, it died. Just as the cold has begun to bite. And the service people have no idea when they can fix it. The Brivis gas heater it replaced ran for over 20 years. It is just a disgrace when you pay so much.

We reported it several weeks ago, the service people came and were not able to tell me when they could fix it.

They came and had to replace the compressor. Then a few days later the error code and flashing power button again. So they came and replaced the controller board. Not sure yet how that will go as they have just done it.

They came back again and had to replace yet another controller board. Now the second unit we have has started blowing out cold air only. WTH. It has to have its internal controller board replaced also. How can such an expensive product be so shoddy!
