Panasonic RC700 Questions

Hello, I've had this clock for some years now and it's been working well. But I woke up this morning to a clock with no numbers on it. It's plugged into the wall and has a stable power supply, ive unplugged it and plugged it back in and still nothing. It still "works" because the colon light turns and so does the alarm light when I switch on the alarm. But no other buttons work. Any help would be appreciated or it may be time to get a new clock.

How do you turn off alarm on a Panasonic RC-700 as red light stays on all the time

The alarm function stays on all the time. Select the radio off position on the selector, and/or turn the volume to zero so you can't hear it

Press and hold down the alarm button. Then press the hour button and scroll the display to the hour you want the radio to come on. Then press the minute button to set the minute you want the radio to come on. Pay attention to AM PM marker on the display. Make sure the current time on the clock is correct (Clock button + Hr or Min to adjust). Make sure the radio is set to the station you want and the volume is OK. Make sure the slide switch on top is set to is set the middle position "radio".
