Constantly miss firing, has been sent to the repairer over and over. Waste of time, they want to put a service kit through it every time because they cannot find the fault. $350 a hit! poor quality – Very annoying gun. First time I used it nail driver stuck and when it did shoot I need to push down very hard. Probably quicker with hammer and nails and a whole lot cheaper. Show details
Spend more time fixing the gun then fixing timber with it – Absolute junk compared to the Im390! Miss fires and constantly jambs! It's not easy to service like the 1st fix guns and the firing pins bend and shoot double nails! Save your money! All these do is slow a job down! Servicing ... costs around 350 to 550 bucks! Painfully annoying – When it's working = great gun and so handy which it did for maybe 3months. takes multiple misfires and gas wastage to finally reset it to drive another nail! Geeze as typing this it brings up thoughts of how angry it makes me trying to get it to work think I might just bin it. im going back to the air coil nailer! Where the Paslode frame and finisher has been faultless for years of use so far.
Update from my FIRST review – PASLODE came to the party...and listened closely to my grievances regarding my PASLODE Gas Coil Nailer. I surmise that they must have agreed that the coilnailer I bought when it first came out, MAY have been faulty from the start. In any case, they replaced the original with a NEW one, and so far it has not failed. It certainly operates better than the previous one. Thank you PASLODE.

all of them I sold because of continual problems with reliable service operations, prompting me to go back to using the old faithful pneumatic SENCO Finish Nailer, but sometimes it’s not practical to cart a big air compressor around. HENCE, the same logic applied to the coilnailer scenario. So, I sold my Bostitch pneumatic coil nailer and bought the PASLODE Gas coilnailer. Excited about the new product released September 2019…I booked a prepurchase from Bunnings in Innisfail…let me give you the stats: 1. FIRST TIME USE, fixing 4.5mm Hardiflex sheeting to pine wall frame…After frequent misfires randomly, and About 1/4 of the way into a PASLODE 45mm ring shank coil, the gun jammed up with 2 nails which I could not dislodge…off to the service agent. 2. Upon its return, the service agent told me that he made some adjustments and everything should be okay….four weeks later back to him it went for 2ND TIME IN FOUR WEEKS… 3. By this time, I’ve still only used a couple of coils, in 45mm and 32mm hardened… 4. I’m a repair builder and only use a coilnailer when fixing cementious sheeting to pine framing, and occasionally for fixing frame brackets for deck joists etc. 5. THIS GAS COILNAILER IS TOO SLOW FOR HOUSE FRAME BRACKETS…IT DOES NOT PERFORM LIKE A PNEUMATIC COILNAILER. Let’s be clear on that! 6. Late last year (November) I sent the coilnailer back to the service agent, who was equally frustrated with the issues. At this point, I’m still using the first box of nails for both. Poor trading in 2020 saw little use of this PASLODE coilnailer, nevertheless the tool continued misfiring and jamming up. 7. The service agent completely rebuilt this nailer, as instructed by PASLODE company. Apparently mine wasn’t the only one. 8. I was instructed to keep the tool well-oiled, and clean…and to give it time to recover between each shot. 9. I’m now on my last 45mm ring shank coil from original BOX number 1…bought two years ago…been doing some fencing…you know 16mm Pine palings into mostly pine rails…my general experience this year has been that during the use of one coil, I have experienced at least one, if not two, double fires, two nails in one hole jammed up…(I know how to clear them now) and AT LEAST, one firing pin jam every 30-40 nails. 10. TODAY, those statistics, ended up 7 firing pin jams, while fixing a dozen palings, plus a misfire every third or second nail. (nail feeding mechanism not working properly) causing me to give up, and not finishing the job…for fear of taking a sledgehammer to this $999 disaster of a tool! The last photo is of some nails, straightened when you untangle them from the firing nozzle.
