Just mix with meat mince as you need it. Easy. Cats came back for more – I don't feed my cats out of cans. Too expensive and generally heavy on salt - which, I'm told, does their kidneys in. But they do have a quality dry food available 24/7. After a poor experience with sachet food for cats and their outrageous cost I've been experimenting with making wet meals for my 2 cats. Not so much to save money but to give them a more natural meat diet on top of the dry stuff - once a day.

One thing for sure, if you're going that route you need to make sure the food has all the nutrients it needs. And buy quality meat. It doesn't cost much more than crap and you got no idea what's in crap.

I went to YouTube for recipes. Most were fiddly and none of them did any good. Invariably there was something in them the cats didn't like so wouldn't eat. And neither cat was particularly fond of chicken and I had to put their paws up their back for them to eat it to get rid of it.

Then I came across products that were made to add to meat mince - but all seemed to be in USA and product not available in Australia.

Then, out of desperation, I went to eBay.

Found Passwell Multi-Vite for Animals 80g dog cat vitamin mineral supplement for about $9 a container plus shipping. Did some research and found some reviews - all were positive.

So, I thought, 'what the heck, buy a container and see what happens'.

Comes as a powder - 80grams doesn't seem much but you don't need to use more than about 1 gram per cat per meal so it's good value.

Seems to contain everything nutritional a cat could need in a meal. Just add to meat with some water - no special preparation - just mix and use as needed.

The ultimate test - would they eat it?

Yes! - no problems - even came back for more.

It's all you need.

Purchased in at eBay for $9.
