This model is pretty compact (large compared to some) and basic aside from the clear window that allows viewing while it's cooking, it's somewhat useful if not a bit gimmicky, depends what you've got cooking. It is fairly quiet to use, although it seemed more so at first. The touch control panel doesn't like damp hands, but otherwise good. There are enough cooking options to work through, however I find myself varying times and temperature which is easily done. It gets used as a mini oven, baking full size loaf tin cakes and full size roasts among other things; I've used it without the tray on the odd occasion looking for extra room but with the design it didn't really make much difference and it affects how the fan forces the heat around the food. It mostly gets used for other things like bacon, chips, grilling fish, sausages, rissoles, the list goes on. There are limitations with the height of the drawer so you need to be careful nothing is likely to touch the element on top making it burn. The build quality is light compared to other Philips I'd seen in the past, but it is very good value for what it is. This product replaces a Cucina air fryer and steamer which did not seal and sent the steam all over kitchen cabinets instead of containing it. Prior to this I had a very basic Coles Thomson 11litre air fryer, I loved the size even though it was an overkill, but did the job really well for several years until the coating began to lift.

Ok.. firstly, best part -quiet as. My second airfyer from a Tefal to a Phillips. I was told to look them up. Easy to use, did I mention Quiet.. I picked this one as I felt the draw was robust and better built. It comes with a light, easy clean arrangement and does not take up much kitchen real estate. While it has pre programmed modes you can alter as needed before or during the cook cycle. Works well..

This is our third AirFryer, and easily the best. We particularly like the front “window” with an internal light, and the digital timer. Both of these features are why we upgraded from an older model with a mechanical timer, which was still going very strong but has now been donated to the local Op Shop. We use the airfryer virtually every night- it’s certainly one of the most useful kitchen appliances we have ever owned (along of course with a good Panasonic inverter microwave). We would HATE to be without our airfryer, whether for quickly heating croissants for morning tea or cooking a huge range of things for dinner. It’s also fast, and super efficient on power compared to heating a whole oven.
