Great TV at first but it won't last, a few problems, not built for durability at all – Was great at the start, a bit clunky in the interface and missing some key apps which cannot be installed. After a few months it got pretty glitchy in that it would just randomly turn itself of during a movie or show, like 2 or 3 times a day, often after only 10 minutes of viewing, for absolutely no reason at all. Really frustrating. USB plug at back is damn near inaccessible, very hard to get a USB stick into and out of. The picture quality (when working) was pretty good, great for the price, 4K and reasonably good contrast. The factory settings for picture quality are garbage, so be sure to have a play and turn off all the artificial nauseating embellishments they add in there. Then after 2 years of having it, the backlight LED strips all failed within a week rendering the TV dead in the water, just days after warranty expired. Did Phillips literally put a timer on these things? Seriously, I had old CRT TV's that went for over 20 years, and this thing dies in 24 months? Found out a lot of these do that, it's Phillips big up yours to their customers I guess.

So good, love the ambient lighting addition – My first Philips TV. Colours are great and visibility from all angles is crystal clear. The special lighting adds a whole new dimension to watching TV. A very SMART TV.

First class picture for the money – The picture quality is first class and worthy of a TV costing twice as much. Detail is great and colour reproduction is natural with true blacks giving a nice contrast. The Ambilight system works flawlessly and makes the TV seem even larger - it's truly absorbing. The operating system is simple enough, although sometimes a little sluggish to respond to input. Personally this doesn't worry me and overall I'd say this is the best TV I've ever had.

Great price and quality – I'm really happy with it. Specially i love the Ambilight technology that makes feel screen much wider. If you’re not familiar with Ambilight, it involves an array of individually controllable LEDs on the TV’s rear outputting coloured light that can be set to track the colour content of the image you’re watching.
