Faulty from the box , very loud noise from the fan unit- speaking with Phillips online which has been very unhelpful and are making it very hard to get a replacement unit. After waiting for days for a response have now been told to send it back to Amazon for a replacement ….. problem is they have none. Through this customer journey I have been made to feel at fault, when clearly it’s a faulty “Brand New” Show details
I have used it for about 2 months. It is one of the most advanced air-fryers in its class, which promises to make cooking easier by linking with an app and offering a large capacity+smart features. The unit supports app-based control via the NutriU / HomeID (depending on region) system: it allows you to browse lots of built-in recipes and send them… Read more
to the air-fryer. It also allows monitoring of the cooking progress via the app; and I am able to start/stop the air fryer from the couch using my mobile phone. The built-in food thermometer (probe) is a smart add-on: you can get precise cooked steak (rare, medium or well done) or roast chicken using the wireless probe. The roasted chicken turn out with crispy skin and the meat is moist. It allows me to monitor the cooking process on my phone via the build in Wi Fi. Holds 8.3 L capacity, large enough for a whole chicken of about 2.2 kg or 2 kg of fries. It cook Tofu very well without the need to use oil.
Phillips xxl air fryer – Air fryer is good, however the app is rubbish and never works. Just print the dam instructions instead of the useless app. Show details

Good fryer ruined by inadequate user information – A good air fryer ruined by inadequate and misleading information. Instructions provided are useless, a manual which can be found on the internet is essential. The barcode provided to allow wi-fi connection is useless. The reason given was that it only works on a system operating on 2.5 G. Remove those problems and the fryer would be worth the extra cost over base models.

Glitchy wifi but great cooking results – The Philips Combi 7000 XXL with temperature probe is my first air fryer and despite a rocky start I am very happy with its cooking performance. Firstly, the not so good: I had to swap not one but two units because of wifi connectivity defects. The upside is that Philips customer service and Bing Lee were really helpful and arranged replacement… Read more · 2
units without questions or hassle. It was nonetheless very frustrating to spend hours and hours troubleshooting the wifi and working through the logistics of arranging to return/swap over the faulty units. Fortunately the third time proved lucky and I was finally able to connect the unit to wifi and the Philips app. While there are still plenty of manual cooking modes, the app really does open up many additional features and so I'm glad I persevered! The large cooking capacity and speed with which the device cooks are impressive. I haven't used my oven since purchasing this and suspect it will be put to very regular use.
Fantastic Airfryer – Love this airfryer..had the previous xxl philips airfryer and this is definitely a step up. Well made, quieter and easier to clean. Everything that is cooked in it is delicious. Connected to the NutriU app means you can start and monitor your food from the couch OR work. The food probe actually works and does a good job. Bit pricey though, which is the only con for me personally. Show details · 1
Give this Phillips air fryer a miss ! – Just replaced our old Phillips air fryer (which we loved ) to this brand new top of the range model XXL 7000. Had one day and takes twice as long to cook basic chips. Handle feels cheap and flimsy and to open and close is unstable too. When closed it doesn’t even look even and it’s also very plastic in look and feel. In our opinion give it a wide berth. Older models feel much better quality and much more solid. Show details
