Purchased Philips i9000 which has rotary blades that are supposed to shave below the surface of the skin ,not sure about that but does a great job and if you haven't shaved for a few days seems to have no problems picking up random hairs.Comfortable to hold quiet in operation and I like the pop up trimmer so you don't have to attach a trimmer attachment very happy with my purchase.
Follow-up · I'm guessing charging time is approx one hour as far as battery life i get approx ten shaves per charge obviously that will change for different people. Cleaning is very simple and quick simply push a button on shaving head which then swings open and brush or use a Philips cleaning station and just pop razor in with cleaning solution and turn on to go through cleaning process.Overall nice and quite to use and picks up any stray whiskers so it's a winner for me.
