Philips OneBlade Pro 360

Been meaning to write a review to let others know to give this one a miss unless they have surplus funds for constant new blades. Purchased One Blade 360 (yes the positive reviews and hype got me) for something new and easy. Firstly battery life amazing, ergonomics great and it worked great first couple shaves then blade just started the odd face hair pull like it was going blunt, yet I was thinking can’t be literally x5 shaves in. It pulls and struggles shaving now constantly.
Made sure it was fully charged, tried wet and dry just has lost sharpness already just doesn’t cut bogs down on hardly any hair.
Blade still has full colour hasn’t faded at all like it states it does once it starts to wear. I looked up the blade wear to see just how long are these blades expected to last, says 4 months at a couple shaves a week. I used it for all of about 5 shaves over 3 weeks and it’s blunt.
It’s simply ridiculous at $20 a blade replacement and needing to replace after a handful of shaves.
Don’t bother with this, ignore the many positive reviews they are clearly company issued or kids that have just hit puberty and the shaver cuts like butter on their faces. Once you look into it a tad more you will find their are tonnes of buyers not happy with the blades on these shavers.
I’m back to shaving with the old Braun I have and a wet shave now and then. Sorry Phillips you have fallen short on this one with the blade wear which despite the other great things fundamentally the blades and cut are the most important, if you can work that out ya will be on to a good thing I’m sure.

ABSOLUTELY LOVE the oneblade. I'm not sure if others are aware but b4 I purchased I was told it's not for a smooth shave. Didn't bother me. I just got it as a chrissy prez. The blades are brilliant. I can Shave each side of blade and it swings to a certain degree. It'll Sha e right up close no matter how much growth you have. The blade design is different but highly functional. THOROUGHLY RECOMMEND TO ALL.
Follow-up · Tricky areas Like under chin at side if neck ( for me) Yes, it's not that bad. It just takes another go over. The blade is amazing. Battery so far is excellent. Check it out: since Xmas day(100%) I'm only now at(85%) but I only use every 5-7 days. Really easy to clean. I blow it off& then a really quick wash under tap. Then tryn dry with towel lightly. Love the Oneblade.
Follow-up · Hi guys. Would like to add something. I don't know if it's because of the oneblade; but I've noticed my growth comes back faster. Does this sound weird. I shaved two days ago & I just noticed the stubble is back really quickly. Not sure if it's the one blade but I'm gonna do a continuous study of this. I'll keep you posted. ( I'm not angry of upset, just curious.) Rob

Hi Rob! Great to hear you're still loving the OneBlade experience. Keep us posted on your findings! We'd love to hear if your shaving routine changes as you get more used to the device.
The Philips One Blade 360 Pro Face is the best little shaver of its type that I have used, having used many different brands and types of face and beard shavers’ overs the years. The “one blade” cutting blades are different and can offer a close shave where total hair removal is required. The blades are double sided, very small and oscillate in all directions at a speed of 12,000 cycles a minute. The blades are good for Trimming, edging, and shaving off. I initially thought that the double sided blade was over the top but once I got used to it and used it to advantage, its proven to be very good. The finish is not razor smooth, but very close.
The shaver is fully wet and dry which I have found to be useful and versatile. Its compact and very light and easy to use – after use I give it a good clean under water to remove the hair. The shaver charges with a USB A type cable (supplied, but it is not a generic phone type usb cable) which is handy to use at home and when you travel. I took mine on a trip recently and just plugged the usb a cable into my battery charge travel pack and no worries.
Charge time is less than an hour when fully flat, but run time seems to be around 2 hours. There is a 3-line battery indicator on the handle that illuminate when you press the start button, to show state of charge. The shaver runs quiet and smooth which is good when it runs so close to your ears.
The shaver is supplied with a clip-on adjustable comb for beard trimming which is very good, it adjusts from 0.5mm through to 9 mm, 12 settings in all. I have used a lot of combs on these types of trimmers, but this one is very accurate and because of the micro blades, it cuts to the setting that you dial up, which is a good feature.
The handle is tactile in the hands and is suitable for left or right-handed use, took a little bit of understanding as to how the blades work to enable edge cutting and flat cutting. I like that flat cutting and edge cutting does not cut you skin, I have had plenty of nicks when using conventional type cutting blades.
The shaver is supplier with a blade, adjustable clip-on comb, usb A cable, protector for the cutting head when travelling.
I only have a relatively light beard, I cannot attest to how well this shaver would work on a heavier beard, but given its abundant power and ability to cut I would think that it would be untroubled. For me it has been a brilliant little shaver after so many that have been heavy, noisy, and not as good on the cutting, especially when just shaving facial and body hair without the comb, where it does not nick your skin on the way through.
PROS: Light, compact and tactile to use, very ergonomic; Relatively quiet and smooth, not loud; Very good adjustable comb, accurate and works well; Std usb A plug in cable, handy when travelling as well, just plugs into any charge pack; Blade rotates, swivels, and follows the contours of your skin very well; Build quality looks very good; Wet and dry use which is very handy, versatile;
CONS: Must replace the blade every 4 months of use (if used daily) – can be a little expensive

Hi Paulo, thank you for taking the time to share such a detailed review. We’re really sorry to hear about your experience with the OneBlade 360, we understand how frustrating it must be when the blade performance drops so quickly, especially after only a handful of uses and when the product initially worked well for you. We also hear your concerns around the blade lifespan and cost of replacements, as well as the wear indicator not reflecting the actual performance. While blade longevity can vary depending on factors like hair type, shaving style, and maintenance, what you’ve described is certainly not the experience we want for you. Your feedback about blade durability and overall shaving performance is extremely valuable, and we’ll make sure it is shared with our product team for further review. Insights like yours help us continue to improve both our products and user experience.
