Philips Beardtrimmer Series 7000 QT4070 Questions & Answers
VerifiedHello , I was really glad owning the 7000 series trimmer but a week passed and it cutsoff after a second , and again ive to press the power button to get it running and it stops again and again , please help me sort out the matter?
Hi Bob, We agree that that's a bit early for it to jam. Would you be so kind to contact our shaver specialists at 1300 363 391? They will be able to either troubleshoot the issue, or to come up with alternatives to assist.
Kind regards,
The Philips Australia team
I had the same problem with a Philips shaver. Took it back to The Shaver Shop and they replaced it under warranty. The Shaver Shop is very strict about what it regards as 'valid' warranty claims and they will do their best to evade and avoid any claims, so if you don't get a sensible response from them go to Consumer Affairs and get some assistance from them.
Hello Philips! I hope you will finally reply, as over the last 2 months I have submitted a question via your website for and it has been IGNORED. Could you please answer, as I am considering dropping Philips as a brand altogether. Originally sent to Philips Customer Care (yeah, right!) no 9th October and NO REPLY has been forthcoming even with two follow ups. :(
"I cannot seem to find BT7085 in Australia, yet I prefer it to the BT7201 because it trims to a longer length (18mm vs 10mm). Which one is the newer model, and why is it so hard to get the BT7085 here?"
Could I please finally get some information Philips!?
(I was also looking to get the Philips Fidelio B5 Soundbar but based on my personal experience and the feed back on this website it looks like all Philips cares about is the sale/money and then 'stuff the customer') :/
Hello there, thank you for your question here and thank you for showing interest in our products! Pity to hear your question to our customer care team has not been answered, that’s not what should happen of course. The BT7201 is our current model, but the BT7085 should still be available through certain retailers. Our team will be more than happy to answer other questions you might have, you can reach them through 1300 363 391 if you like.
Our team specialized in audio is a different team, so if you’d like to talk to them you can reach out to them through 1300 850 633. It goes without saying that they’ll be more than happy too, to answer your questions.
Kind regards.
the Philips Australia team.
The model I reviewed was the runout / superseded model. It does a good job and meets all the claims. You might be able to find one as old stock but it probably be hard to do so.
Stay away and don't buy Philips products. Very hard to get a reply from Philips customer care team, very poor customer service!
Why has this trimmer been discontinued? Should I wait for a newer release or buy a different brand?
Hello Hazem. Good to hear that you like one of our older models of trimmers! You might have a shot when looking on websites of the larger online retailers. They may be able to send it to your location. :)
Thanks for the tip, do you have any information regarding plans for future vacuum beard trimmers?
My Philips 7000 series beard trimmer has worked very well for about 4 years but now the error light comes on whenever I attempt to use it. I assume the battery has failed. I live in the country which restricts my options somewhat. What should I do?
Hello there, we're sorry to hear your trimmer is giving up! May we ask which country you live in? That makes it easier for us to look for help for you.
