Philips SHB5500BK/00

Good for everyday use – I got theses Philips SHB5500BK/00 headphones about six months ago and I never had any problem with them. Price was a bit expensive I think, but I really like them. Working perfect so far,- the sound quality is very clear and they're very easy to use. Worked great with my mobile phone also. I using them almost every day at home and outside,- great, not really need better headphones. I hope to use Philips SHB5500BK/00 for a long time.  Show details ·  2

Great headphones – I bought these to use with my laptop. They are great in terms of sound quality and they work well for the kind of work I do. I use them to listen to podcasts while working. waterlogged but I think is down to poor MP3 file. Good qual MP3 files, no problem and as good as any wired headphone!!

Good quality, light on my ears and value for money – I like my new headphones. I was comparing them to Sony and they do look and feel superior. They are very light on the ears and I can use them for longer and can hardly feel them. They are very comfortable to use. They are good to listen to music or watch videos, the choice is yours. Great headphones – I love these headphones. They have travelled with me all sorts of places. Their charge lasts ages, they are super super comfy and they are sleek. up to Bluetooth on my phone and the bottons are in an easy to reach spot and very basic (easy to control while they are on). Happy with the sound quality - they are obviously not going to compare to a $300-something pair of noise control headphones but honestly for the price they are amazing. They are so light as well and fit my head perfectly (I have a small head so I find a lot of these style of headphones can be too big even on the smallest setting). Was going to buy these and trial to see if I wanted to spend money on a more expensive pair but I am honestly so happy with these I will stick with them. Am a little worried they might not have the lasting power and may break in a few months just because they only cost $49, but to date they are still working perfectly fine.

which hasn't happened for a long time. Easy to charge and battery is long lasting. I think I got a full week of commuting between charges. Would recommend if the price is right.

actually though realised that they were on the ON-EAR type and was a bit disappointed.

However, after having used these headphones for a few months I am actually very impressed with them. I have found that they are very comfortable to wear and the sound quality is decent for the price level they are sold at. I have also found that they function great as a mobile headset for making/receiving mobile phone calls. Battery life is reasonable and would seem to be on par with its claimed battery life.

All in all, I would say these are very decent headphones for the price you can get them for. The only word of warning I would say it, I have a 60 to 62cm circumference head and find that is about the limit for these headphones. So if you have a massive noggin, you may want to try them on before buying.
