Philips Wireless TV Headphones SHD8850/79

Normally they have been OK but recently I subscribed to Britbox and the headphones are unusable due to scratchy interference. This same interference is heard when connected to free to air TV on some channels but not on others - main problem is with commercial networks. If playing out of Foxtel or BlueRay box or DVD player the sound is good.
Purchased in at Joyce Mayne Physical store.
Great brand, great product. But nowadays, there's so many other options on the market. Like Simolio TV headphones and more.
Great Idea just needs tweeking – The idea of these headphones is great. i myself am constantly activating subtitles while watching movies, etc as i find for me to be able to hear the dialogue clearly i require subtitles. these headphones eliminate the need for annoying subtitles (other people watching now don't complain). The only downside to these is the adjustable head piece. There needs to be a stay on function as if i move a certain way they slide off and i can no longer hear. i have had to wrap a pipe cleaner around the head piece to be able to use these how they are intended without sound cutting in and out. Also i find the ear pieces are little big as well. Maybe in the new model you could take this into consideration. Thanks
Purchased in at Philips for $230.
Returned to Harvey Norman – Unfortunately these headphones have been returned to HN after only 24hrs. In our cinema room the base has a very bright white light which is annoying. When headphone is charging this light becomes a very bright green flashing light. These can be overcome by placing a bit of black tape on the light. Worst part is that; The headphone switches on automatically when the band across the top stretches to a certain point. In my case and even more my partners case, it means that the headphone needs to be pushed lower than where I would like it to sit on my head and is pushing down on the top of my ears. There is no adjustment for this. This means that every time I move my head it cuts in and out. Therefore my focus became totally on trying not to disturb the headphone and forget about the actual enjoyment of good clear audio.
