machine cleaner with no problems. I called the customer support but they didn’t appear concerned which is a worry considering, after reading these reviews, it’s a known problem. Avoid this at all costs!!

Used this several times and EVERY TIME IT OVER FLOWS MY MACHINE , DO NOT USE . I've followed the directions to a T every time , every time suds build up till they overflow out the detergent draw and down the face of the machine onto the floor . NO the drain is not blocked. If I could give 0 stars I would! occurring and the machine was perfectly fine no rust at all and have taken a photo of the damage occurring over time since. Now it is totally rusted and needs replacing

I am so disappointed and upset and will be seeking further advice and action from a lawyer especially now reading these reviews seeing this is a recurrent issue and nothing has been done to remove the product or fix the issues

Pine o clean washing machine cleaner…..frequency of use – A few years ago when I first started using this product (which is good), it’s instructions said to use once every 2x months (of this I’m certain)…and as of my current purchase (2 weeks ago), they now recommend cleaning your machine every month. (which I doubt) or is the company simply wanting us to buy more ???? Because of long-time buyers, they should advise us on front of pack, of their change in instructions. The price of this product is way more than it needs to be…. I think I’ll go to another brand now, of which there are a few. ….Not happy pine o clean ☹️

Squeaky clean washing machine after using this – Just used this in my machine, I used 1 bottle on the longest wash cycle (3 hr wash) I put it on the 60 degree cycle then put it on the 90 degree cycle. The water was filthy whilst it was draining. Don’t expect this to replace having to wipe/scrub the door seals from the sticky sludge, this isn’t a miracle product.  Show details

Appalled – I have been using this product since my machine was new I use it weekly due to my work cloths. It is awful my machine now has black scum in it and I have never had this issue before I’ve been ripped off and spent hundreds on a product that is destroying my machine. residue in the drawer. Made sure that there was no detergent preset in the machine and selected their recommended wash cycle. Turned my machine on, emptied the contents of the washing machine cleaner into the drum of my front loader machine and left it to do it's job. Very lucky for me that I came back into my laundry before the cycle had finished. I was met with an absolute mess - suds streaming from the washing machine drawer, all over my machine and all over the floor!! I was devastated!! Contacted their Support Line via email. Well, wasn't that a waste of my time!! All I received back in two emails, was questions?? Did you do this, did you do this??? I had already explained in my initial email, that I had completely followed the instructions on the bottle. Since then, and after answering ALL their questions - Silence!!! Pine O Cleen was a product that I grew up with and a Trusted Brand. I can't believe what it has become!! Stay Away from this Product is my advice and my opinion!!!

Broke washing machine and it stinks like sewerage now - DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT – My wife put this through our machine which was working perfectly until using this product. Do Not Buy This Product – I bought this in the hope of getting rid of a bit of grime build up around the machine. My machine didn’t smell at all before using this product. Now it reeks. machine open and back door to the house open to try and air out the smell for 2 days. I ended up just cleaning under the seal and around the door with a scrub brush and soapy water. Not worth your money.

Terrible product, don't use it – After using this product, the washing machine stop working properly, it is stopping every five minutes during washing, It took several rinses to get rid of the bad smell and I will probably have to replace the washing machine. This is terrible and should be taken off the shelves immediately.

Absolutely stinks – My washing machine was starting to smell so decided to try this product. It now smells atleast 10x worse and the putrid "lemon/lime" smell got into the subsequent wash of clothes. I am disappointed and worried I've ruined my washing machine. Show details

If Zero stars were available I'd give it – I bought two bottles of this, used 1 in my machine and one in my sister's. Neither machine stunk before using this product. Now they smell putrid. What About Water Wastage – I am concerned why you woul recommend a cleaner that uses copious amounts of water when water in Australia is like gold, especially I ally in drought regions. Not intelligent.

That scent – While this product does the job, the perfumed scent is way too strong. I used two 250ml bottles per instructions for my 10kg top loader and I had to close the laundry door because the scent was giving me a headache. Meanwhile, I had to go to the supermarket a second time to get another bottle because I had no idea I needed two bottles until I read the tiny instructions on the back.  Show details

Rubbish – It is a waste of time and money. My machine didn't stink but I bought the product to clean the sludge from the rubber seal. Didn't clean anything from the seal.

Doesn't do anything – I cleaned out the filter before using this product so that it had the best chance to get through the whole machine properly. Nothing was different after using this product. Show details

Amazing clean – My machine stunk, had built-up gunk (my machine uses tank water) and it was disgusting. I used the product and the smell disappeared and the gunk was cleaned. I use this product each month and am happy with it. Show details

Money down the drain – All modern washing machines pump the drum empty prior to starting a water fill. If you put this product into the drum before then it is pumped straight to drain! Show details

Stopping overloading the machine helped too – My son complained about the dirty water smell whereas I didn’t experience it. So I purchased the product and it was good. At the same time I told my son not to accumulate such a pile. He has had no smells since.  Show details
