Plantronics RIG 800HD (cordless) Headphones - Very Impressed – I know there are negative reviews about these headphones out there but mine are the best headphones I've ever used at half the price. Bought them from JB HIFI who matched super special discount at EB. Mine are over 24 months old (after all reviews about recent purchases are very limited). Mine have worked faultlessly from my PC for their life so far. Used extensively for gaming and music. Comfort I am very impressed with their comfort with suspended headband so no weight on the ears and cloth (rather than pleather - pretend leather) is both comfortable and hard wearing. There is no wear signs at all and they used a lot. Sound Quality The sound quality is unreal, fantastic, awesome ... what can I say ... I am very impressed. Built-in safe guard over excessive volume is good - do you really want to be deafened for life? Battery Life Though used a lot the headphones need only occasional charging and recharge very fast .... GREAT. The audio promote when you turn them on as to the battery level "Battery is High", "....Medium", ....Low" is very helpful. Range Tested them out and managed to walk outside the house (brick) and 20 metres further (onto the road) before the signal became weak. I just love them!!!

Purchased in at JB Hi-Fi Retail Stores for $148.

Very Disappointed – Bought the 800HD headset after my 5 year old rig headset ( https://images-na.ssl-images-amazon.com/images/I/41E%2BUOaiE6L.jpg) earphone snapped. Oh man what a let down my old headset speakers were WAY better. The 800 HD started fuzzing out when you push the volume up regardless what EQ setting you use. My old ones you can push the volume to max and whatever EQ setting they are remain clear no fuzz more bass and only cost around $90 back in the day.

Returned them only hours later ...

Definitely not worth $200 ... wont be buying Plantronics again...

Purchased in at JB Hi-Fi for $199.
