So great – After going through 2 sets of a different name brand headphones and I will say the store that i got all of the headsets from was great I went back in with another set that had broken (not the rigged set ) i was shown the rig head set and I was straight on them even the sales man said he had a set at home and I have purchased many many many times before so he wasn't pushing for a sale and he looked at the best price he could do and I couldn't walk away from the deal .I have had 3 back operations in less than 12months and it has confined me to 4 walls and the bed now for a long time so head set fully wireless connection comfortable to were I'm not talking about wearing them for 2 to 4 hours more like 8 to 12 13 14 hours a day and since having these I can not fault them 2 day battery life different sound modes noise conciliation all the things you would expect from these

Comfortable headset, good quality sound, USB issues heavily detract from the experience – The headset themselves are comfy and sturdy but light, a real pleasure to wear for long periods. The sound is well balanced, not bass or treble heavy. Also the USB dongle registers as stereo, so no surround sound capabilities here (comes with Dolby headset, but it seems little or no games actually use this). Finally the USB dongle has issues that plague the product. Under Windows 10, on each boot I get a message that a USB device had an error, yes it is the RIG800 with the error. I have to physically unplug and re-plug the device for it to work. However next reboot or power on, same problem. I would like to plug the dongle into a rear USB port but this issue prevents me. Also if I unplug to enable the speakers and then re-plug later, frequently I get no sound from the headset. The only way to recover sound when this happens is to reboot. Plantronics help said it is a Windows issue, as the RIG installs no software and uses the standard Windows drivers.

What I should have done: Accept a cable and get the RIG 400 with a 3.5mm jack. It appears to be the same frame and comfy ear cups without the badly done USB dongle. If you want surround sound get an eBay USB surround sound adapter which will register as a 7.1 device and provide virtual surround.

Fantastic Headphones – I use them on Xbox and PC, they have crystal clear sound, great wireless range, I've been to the other end of the house and out into the backyard with them on, the microphone is adjustable and also has very clear sound output. An hour or so of charging is enough to power them all night, a full charge will let you game for days on end. I'd definitely recommend this headset to anybody looking for a decent, lightweight and wireless solution.

they are also very light, you can wear them for hours without getting uncomfortable!
