requires minimal maintenance. I can charge 12 volt batteries whilst drawing 240 volt at the same time, I can parrale connect to another P2000i to effectivly double my power output. Polaris is a well known brand with a established customer relations in Australia & it was a a little cheaper with pretty much identical warranty and specifications. The Polaris products I have, have been exceptional and their service and product support has been excellent.
