Hi Guys – Excellent so far. Quite operation compared to our last aircon. The only problem is the exhaust hose slot for the window. Its to small and doesnt reach the entire way to the top. Show details

This airconditioner is okay – This portable aircon works okay. I bought it after having heatstroke in 2017 almost putting me in hospital. During the Summer months (which is late October to late March because I'm in South East QLD), it seems to work just fine. You literally have to be laying or sitting in front of the aircon though to feel the cold breeze and have windows open… Read more

enough to allow the hot air to blow out from the hose. If you don't have that luxury then you shouldn't buy it. 'nuff said.

Waste of money – I have a large number of issues with this unit; 1. The hose output from the unit is too low on the unit, causing large bends and a LONG hose length to reach windows 2. The hose gets EXTREMELY hot, and heat just radiates off it, completely counteracting the cool air venting from the front. It subsequently doesn’t cool the room, especially when you… Read more

have to extend such a long hose 3. The window kit is two cheap pieces of metal, that aren’t even long enough to seal the gap on a standard window, let alone a sliding door. They get hot too, generating radiant heat. Heat gets in through the gap too. It seems the unit generates more radiant heat from the back than compressed cool air from the front. 4. It is so loud you have no chance of sleeping with it turned on.

OK air conditioning – I purchased this product at the start of summer. The small lounge is kept cool with this product, but once outside hits 35 degrees it seems to not blow out cool air properly. This was purchased from Harvey Norman and was over $600. I expected it to work better. Very easy to install and isn't that noisy. Show details

Noisy guys...really?! – It doesn't matter what indoor portable refrigerated air conditioner you buy, they make noise. The compressor is in the room not outside like a split-system air conditioner. Polocool is top of the range in portables and will actually perform a 'little quieter' than most other medium priced brands. No...I do not work… Read more

for the company but understand expectations of this type of product.
