Powerful – Does a great job at pulverising anything you add to this blender. I tend to use my Nutri bullet more though due to the more compact design. If you have counter top space and have daily smoothies- go for it. If not, stick to your smaller blenders. I wouldn’t bother with nut butters because it would be too hard to scrape it out from the bottom. Show details
Good blender for the price, poor quality jug – Initial impressions were that this thing is amazing, it has an inbuilt breaker that will switch it off without damage if it overheats or gets too much load (I'm pretty hard on them). It may in-fact be a bit too powerful, as it will easily create a cavity in anything that is remotely thick, potentially it would have benefited from larger blades.… Read more
The jug base is able to be removed for cleaning.
After over 18 months of use I have only slightly reduced my opinion to 4 stars. The original jug ended up with stress cracks which resulted in leaking, and despite a fair bit of work attempting to re-seal it, it was a no-go.
Luckily replacement blades can be had for $10, and replacement jugs for $30. I have blended everything from soups to margaritas, and it's handled it all quite well.
The motor is still going strong, and I'll keep you posted on any failures in the future.
