Repair to unit – I have a 1500W pressure wash, and worked very well until the pressure switch fell apart. Is a replacement or after market part available? The rest is stil in gooD condition so want to keep it. Show details
Hope for the Pope, if they provide spare parts! – HOpe for the Pope! Hardly ever use it, so of course the wand has split this time, but half way through the job. Till then, such a treat to get my cement clean at last! Now, like everyone, can't find parts of course, so everyone who had same trouble, I am going to buy those metal hose clamps for the split and hope I can finish my job. I bet another… Read more
part in the cheap plastic will split! Ha! Expensive models have metal wands. It is a shame people are giving bad reviews because for a domestic appliance it works great, but the plastic wand bursts under the pressure & probably gets knocked about too. Hint to POPE: USE better plastic!!! You are getting a bad name. Also, POPE: provide the ability to buy the wand part online. Surely the separate parts is financially successful for you, people have to buy them so often!! After this clean, if the hose clamps are successful & I can finish the job! the moss will grow back quickly so over the next few weeks I need to throw on the Gone in 30 seconds to kill the spores that are still there of course, let the spores die, & then get the Pope out again! Hope the Pope works!
Worked ok – Bit light worked on windows and driveway but did not have a really high pressure. Would not recommend if you needed something that needed real high pressure use, detergent tank a bit of a fault. Show details
Alright – We bought this washer years ago, we've only used it once. From what I remember it was an average pressure washer, but from reading some other reviews ours probably won't last long. What I am disappointed about is that i'm unable to find a foam cannon that goes with this, and i probably never will since it has been discontinued.
Can't find replacement parts – I have not had the trouble many other writers have had, but simply need an 'o' ring. Of course it is a somewhat unique size and none at hardware stores or auto stores match. So I too will look for a better brand that carries replacement parts. I see this has been discontinued - not surprising.
Broke again. Time to find another brand – I am not a heavy user of pressure cleaners. Clean my boat, patio and a few things around the home. This was my 3rd one after warranty replaced the others. Each a different reason. This time I opened it to see why. The pump has broken. Bits of metal in oil part. It is going into the bin, and time to try a different brand.
Another cracked lance on. Pope Power Wash – I don't really know how many times mine has been used as a neighbour kindly loaned it to me. She has never used it but her son has at least twice. It was working Ok then water started spurting out halfway down the stem and, naturally, it lost pressure. I am most embarrassed that it happened to a machine I had borrowed and will have to try to have it replaced but when I buy one for myself it won't be a Pope.
A seriously 'Dud product' by a once reputable brand – Same issue as the others.......this is a dud product with a major flaw. I purchased it 14 months ago and did the driveway once. I packed it and stored it until this Christmas and halfway through the driveway wash, the lance split like ripe melon. I have the receipt but I already know that Big W will give me the 'too bad, so sad' response because… Read more
it's more than 12 months old.
Who makes a product that only lasts for 2 hours??
I Don't know about you but I'm really fed up with being ripped off !
I'll write to Pope and see if they are an ethical company by acknowledging this products obvious fault......stay tuned.

A waste of money – It cracked as the other people stated it is now taking up space in the garage purchased from Big W
Junk - Save your $$$ and buy a better brand!!!! – Must be a design fault. My lance cracked and is now unusable. Should be an easy replacement as the rest of the unit is still operational, but I can't find any spare parts. I knew it was cheap but this is ridiculous! 3 car washes & 1 path and then left in garage for 12 months. expected better from Big W & Pope. DONT BUY!!!
I am well upset – Bought one a year ago - washed the car about a dozen times - no issue. Today I wanted to pressure clean some garden furniture.....lance cracked with water everywhere. Needless to say I cannot find the receipt for a refund / replacement..... Thanks Pope and Big W - another customer that will vote with his wallet and shop elsewhere.
No Spare parts in this Country – This is reasonably priced, but I used it about 4 times and then the spray lance cracked and water went everywhere...Always kept in its original box, not laying around. Cant get replacement parts so the whole thing has to go to the tip. Probably better off paying more money for something you can replace parts on.
Not worth the hassle – The first unit packed up after two uses during warranty period. Took it back to Big W who after some hassles rather reluctantly decided to give me a replacement of the similar make and model. This worked for two uses, after which the plastic lance cracked and water spurted all over the place sideways. Taking it to the dump on my next visit. Cheap Inferior quality and workmanship.
Find out how Pope Power Wash High Pressure Cleaner 1500W compares to other Electric Pressure Washers
Know better, choose better.
Pretty good – I have never used any other brand of pressure washer washer before, so i don't know how it stacks up compared to some of the big name brands. However, it is a pressure washer. It sprays out water at a high pressure. It does what it needs to do. No complaints. Works well for me when I clean my car. Works well, simple to use Can't find addition accessories for it
rubbish – Would not work properly from the start. Motor would cut out as soon as the water tap was turn on, then water would flow from under the body. No pressure at all. Straight back to Big W, and look for something better. I know they say you get what you pay for but................!!!!!!! colour of the unit no pressure, water leaking
An absolute piece of rubbish – Bought the unit from Big W - worked for about half an hour then stopped and started surging - would start and then immediately cut out - then start again and immediately cut out - then start again and immediately cut out - they say you get what you pay for but with this machine you don't even get that - Back to big w hopefully for a refund - Don't buy one of these you will be wasting your money It doesen't work
Worked well, but spray lance cracked very early and Pope don't carry spare parts – This pressure cleaner worked well about 4 times, then the spray lance developed a fine hairline crack, which rendered the spray useless, as it now pumps out at hose pressure, as well as pumping water out of the crack. Pope don't carry any parts and refuse to deal with service of this product. We bought online and live a plane flight from the… Read more
nearest BigW, who will only replace the whole unit, and not just the spray lance, which we could have posted. So in general, this is an OK product if you live near a BigW and you're happy to deal with the high failure rate of the cheap, poor-quality build. Works OK. Poor after-sales service, poor quality build, but has a 2 year warranty.
A sound workhorse – Has excellent pressure for its size. The weight enables all genders to use it. Excellent spray capacity. Excellent 2 year warranty Very compact ,easy to use machine. Buyer be warned.Toro Australia ,does not have parts for this unit.
OK – poor. Telephoned Pope Customer Service on 1300 134 880. No spare parts are available for this Pressure cleaner. So if something as basic as the hose needs replacing, then you have to throw the whole thing out and buy a new one. cheap Telephoned Pope Customer Service on 1300 134 880. something as basic as the hose needs replacing, then you have to throw the whole thing out and buy a new one.
water inlet spigot fault – the retaining ledge on the water inlet spigot is not cut at 90 degrees but at 45 degrees so the holding clips on the female component slide off when mains water pressure is switched on. I had to buy another spigot from Mitre 10 which works perfectly as ledges are at 90 degrees. At the time it was very annoying as such a simple oversight made the unit unuseable.
