terrible fridge waste of money – fridge worked fine for 12 months now has error code 3 flashing and cannot get fridge to work tried turning power off for 30 minutes but still nothing. fridge won't start. very disappointed complete waste of money.

Error codes are: E1 = Low battery voltage E2 =Fan over current E3 = Compressor motor start error E4 = Compressor motor turn speed error E5 = Compressor controller over heat protection Function settings are: F1 = Temp calibration F2 = Temp variation F2 = Temp variation
Ok if you need to reset your Glacio 55L, may work for other models also. Hold down the eco button until E1 appears, set it to -20 press eco again, E2 appears, set this to 10 press eco again, E3 appears, set this to 2 press eco again, E4 appears, set this to 2 press eco again, E4 appears, set this to 2 press eco again, E5 appears, set this to 2 Press eco again, F1 appears, now this needs to be set to the fridges internal temperature, place a thermometer in fridge for 10 minutes first, apply thermometer reading to F1, this will calibrate the current internal temperature. (re check and fine tune F1 +OR- as REQUIRED, all this can be done with fridge running) Press eco again, F2 appears, set this to 2 Press eco again, F3 appears, set this to 2 By setting F1 & F2 to 2 will have the fridge turning on and off 2 degrees either side of the set temperature. So if your set on zero the fridge will turn on at 2 degrees and turn of at -2 degrees. I'm not sure which one F1 or F2 is negative temp variation or which is positive temp variation, so I just set both mine to 2 You can get all sorts of problems from low battery voltage and supplying incorrect amps, for example ( you extend or replace the power cords with lower amp cords than required). Remember if your battery is old and low or has a bad cell you will get no start on your fridge, if your battery is at 11v it will drop to around 9v trying to start the fridge and the fridges internal low voltage battery protection will not allow it to start.(to save your battery) The 55l fridges draw 4.5-5.5 or so amps when running and require 3-4v to start the motor, so you need a fully charged good deep cycle battery. Hope this info helps.
Great value – Bought the 55L and have used it twice, both times it's worked perfectly. Fan is a little loud but the compressor itself is silent. Gets down to temp fast and has a decent amount of storage. Happy with the purchase, this are the same Chinese systems sold under many other brands for double the amount. Show details
Stuck on one temperature – I bought my Glacio 55L December 2017, worked great for a while then got stuck on -30 Deg, this is the answer I got from the manufacturer after lot n lots of hunting. 4. Wait for screen to return to normal.
After that, check if the △ button can work without problem.

Best Portable Fridge/Freezer ever – We are still very very impressed with our Glacio fridge freezer purchased back in mid 2014. It is permanently fitted in our Truck, and it is in constant use. Not ever had any kind of issue with it. We go offroad for several weeks at a time. Never a problem with this unit. Now, if you want a review about the $1500 branded unit in the camper trailer... where's the brickbats... it was a waste of money and effort. The Glacio is fantastic. Show reply
Lasted a few months then dsied.....no Support – I purchased this Unit through OO.com. The first thing that went was the power adaptor with the fridge giving an Err01. OO was great and contacted the Importer who sent me a new power supply. This lasted about two months so I went and bought a 12watt power supply and all went well for about another six months then bingo the same ERR01 message and I… Read more
loose all power to the fridge. Beware if it looks to good to be true then it is......and now its a discontinued product as well!!!!
November 6th 2016 Update: Still Keeps Going
In my earlier review I had had some reservations about this product. since then I have upgraded my power supply to 12 amps from JayCar and no more error messages, I have had the fan replaced and finally the thermistor replaced. The unit is still going for a Chinese knock off but I suppose you have to look at the outgoing costs associated with a low cost investment.
running on 12v – when i change from 240v to 12v it stops working is there steps i should be following to change current flow
Worst buy ever – Brought product from a website, it worked for 1 month. Now the compressor has died!! Have tried to find more info on google and its impossible!! Best I could do was find one on ebay and ask seller for more information. So disappointed in this purchase, guess it was too good to be true. Great when it worked lasted one month only
