Disgusting Customer Service + Lies Just To Get a Sale (Vineyard Store) – Been dealing with [names removed] from Vineyard store. Ordered lounge - told lies from day one (ie after they took my $$) Told order would be delivered in x weeks and then when called up a few days before delivery due (mind you this was closer to x+1 weeks) was told it was going to be x weeks. Yes that was last week! Cant see either of them being in employment for much longer. Proud Furniture must be going bust if staff have to go to these tactics!

DO NOT DEAL WITH PROUD FURNITURE!!! – We ordered the Macquarie Tub style in a three-seater, which they have available on display at their Silverwater store. When our order arrived, the quality of work was horrendous - excessive excessive puckering, crooked piping, three seater sofa made with single base cushion that lifted when one person sat down, etc etc (at least 16 issues were listed in our complaint to Proud Furniture), and the sofas did not reflect the sofa on display in their showroom. Proud Furniture did not take responsibility for the poor quality sofas delivered - We did not demand a refund immediately, as we simply wanted the sofas rectified. What transpired during the course of our dealings with Proud Furniture can at the very least be described as fraudulent and unprofessional. We were forced to take the matter to the Consumer Affairs Tribunal in NSW, in which they lied on record. We had excellent photographic evidence of the issues, and only then did they state they will try to fix some of the problems. In order to avoid going straight to a hearing, we graciously granted them the opportunity, but the lies continued, and a letter to Proud indicating the issues that needed to be rectified, eventually saw them refunding us our money. Of course we are now left without sofas, but we are now much wiser about how brazen some companies are with their lies and the way in which they conduct their business. Don't go near them if you can help it!!

Sofas manufactured did not match the sofa on display & not made to a quality standard expected in Australia, especially for "Australian made" products as they claim.
