Pretty disappointed actually

For an “industrial machine” it isn’t very durable. The hose connection to the base doesn’t stay screwed in and it doesn’t reach spots needing as an industrial machine should. It also releases far too much air making the suction nowhere near as good as expected. Show details

It never dies no matter what I hit it with

Great Italian design! I clean up plaster board dust, Masonite dust (don’t breath it in) and sucked up buckets of water from wet carpets. There is a Chinese made and Italian made versions with different prices. Bought the Chinese one which seems to work well and hasn’t died. The filter handles the plaster dust really well which is generally what killed other vacuums. I’d buy another any day Show details ·  4

Not fit for my purpose

This might be a bit harsh, but I haven't been very happy with my Pullman Janitor. The filter is big bucket shaped and straight walled (not pleated) I don't know if this is why, but ever since I first bought it, the filter would clog very quickly, causing the motor to go into bypass mode. I have used the vac for sawdust, general dust and cement dust. I don't know, maybe I am doing something wrong? Show details

I have just purchased the Pullman A-031b wet dry vacuum. I gave it a good workout in the shed. I worked fine but the nice white filter bag is now very dirty. How do I give the filter bag a good clean?

Take out the white bag if you are sucking out water. I usually just beat the dust off the bag (inside out). You might be able to wash it?

Thanks Danny, I will give that a go. Greatly appreciated your advice
