I love PacVac, I run a commercial cleaning company. We have 10 of the battery powered machines. They are such a good machine. Servicing them is very straightforward and replacement parts like bags, filters, hoses, vacuum heads are all pretty affordable. The only reason I am giving them a 4 star instead of a 5, is because of the battery life. I… Read more · 1
will say that Pacvac have been great, and have replaced multiple batteries for me. But I believe that is just general warranty. I literally have a battery graveyard of batteries that in under 2 years either stopped working or will not fully charge, or last for under 20 minutes, not using the boost function. New batteries are very expensive, being about $170 each battery. I wish their battery life over a few years was better, or there were warranty timeframe was better. But I will say it is an amazing machine, and I will continue buying and recommending this vacuum, along with the corded vacuum.
NEW LATEST UPGRADED MODEL – NEW LATEST UPGRADED MODEL, just bought the upgraded one, and I have noticed that, whoever decided to include that f....n fabric handle, must be f....n insane ! Originally I was complaining about the (vac earlier model) not being balanced correctly when power cord was hanged on vac frame's top side. Now, that top part of frame was changes in… Read more
design (eliminated) perhaps due to having no more complains,.... and my question is now:...where to place the folded power cord when the vac is in transit? So, we come out from one nonsense, just to experience another one and PacVac people think their problem are over. Far from the truth!!! If you are not able to design good functional and reliable vacuum cleaner,....please...go and make other customers miserable in different area of business.
Poor life span – Good vacuum cleaner, but on our third motor in little over four years. First time one burnt out, I was told it would cost a fortune to be looked at and then it might not be covered by warranty - it would need to be sent to Timbuktu or someplace and it would take a month or so to find out what was wrong. But I needed a vacuum cleaner that night, so… Read more
I wound up buying a new one. It burnt out a year or so later, so I bought a Pullman and sent the Pacvac off to be fixed. Eventually I got it back - but it burnt out tonight. The only thing that is better in the Pacvac than the Pullman is the Pullman has a 36mm tube - and it's hard to get replacement brushes, crevice tools and so on.

Great machine. Would give 5* if all floor tools & brushes matched up to its performance – Have owned this vacuum for 7years and it still serves me well on tiles, carpet & rugs. However, I find the attachment accessories to not be of nearly the same standard as the machine: The hard floor brush especially, is of extremely poor quality with the brushes continually just unravelling. After two replacements, I abandoned & found a far… Read more · 1
superior spring loaded articulating brush elsewhere. The gulper floor tool does a general clean up, but does not agitate to remove dust or hair- have greatly modified my gulper with some small bottle brushes to accomodate this! The dusting brush is too small & rigid- have also replaced this with a better, bigger one from elsewhere. And the attachments continually pop out of the belt.
A lovely machine- always use cloth bag+ paper filter & empty after every use. Discard paper filter every month & wash cloth bag. Just wish the attachments were of the same quality!
Why Can't I give this thing 6 stars?? – After my Dyson DC23 (decent machine I must say) died after about 8 years of service, I was needing a new vacuum. Not wanting to spend $1000 on another pull along Dyson that would snag on everything and take random right and left hand turns when pulled straight, or a stick vac with half the suction and bin capacity as the previous Dyson, I cam on… Read more · 1
to Product Review and started to do some research. After deciding on a VacPac 700 Pro asking myself why I didn't think of an industrial vacuum before, seeing as I've used them in previous lives (namely Nilfisk).
The result? Effortless, commercial grade build quality, suction, filtration and noise levels. No more snagging on furniture or wall corners. No more doing half the house and having to unplug and plug the cord somewhere else. Just strap in, turn on and you're locked and loaded to cut your vacuuming chore in half the time. Absolutely love it!! No idea why people don't go and buy what the professional cleaners use. Superior product at half the cost of domestic bells and whistles that cost you a bomb.I certainly know I have! Keep it up PacVac. Keep it up!
I like this vac very much – I use this vac daily and it is the easiest so far. We have a country house with hard floors and 4 wood fires. This machine is simple and uncomplicated. As powerful as a Kirby or Dyson. I find it quick and ergonomic. Comfortable to wear on your back once it is on there. Light in your hand. Easy to use. Powerful suction and easy and light… Read more · 2
floor head - great around/under furniture. Quite inexpensive (I paid $278 for mine). Easy to service yourself - 5 mins tops. It is simple. I love the long cord that reaches the whole house. I have used this commercially and domestically and it makes light work of cleaning. If you have stairs it is perfect. I have used many top brands which have been great but they all are heavier and have short cords and I don't like pull alongs or uprights any more. This straps on your back, light in the hand and off you go. It is easy to empty the dirt bag and clean the filters.
For the commercial work on carpet I also have the powerhead that kind of drives itself. Heavy duty. Simple to use. I paid extra for this - can't remember how much but it was worth it. I use it on my rugs at home.
For storage, I put coat hooks into the back of my cupboard and I hang it up out of the way. I look after the cord by hanging over the vac using long draping loops because I don't want to put kinks into the cord.
I like this above the following brands which I have had. Vax (loved it had it for 17 years but too short cord and pull along annoying around furniture up/down stairs). Shark (too complicated and heavy - sent it back within 30 days). Kirby very well made (way too heavy & expensive). Electrolux (didn't last long broke down). Dyson both pull along and stick (great but again pull along and annoying & the stick batteries not enough to do my house annoying having to have recharging areas) .

PACVAC AMAZINGLY OUTSTANDING – The product works fantastic after 3 years of purchase the bags are easy to clear out and although I was covered by warranty (which the customer service team was amazing at helping with) the product replacement was just as cheap on ebay. The pacvac was great for value and use ! Show details · 1
Versatility no.1 – Complete a cleaning service without a cord to worry about. Lightweight and powerfull. Long lasting battery life and getting 2 sets is so helpful. Show details · 1
Good vacuum but not happy with batteries – Hi using Pacvac 3 years, started battery one 18 months ago one set changed under warranty. But after 6 months same problem runtime.Batteries are expensive. Don’t know what to do . Show details · 1

Battery – I have vacuum cleaner for 3 years now, and batteries do not perform the best right now, I wanted to buy new battery but the model is replaced with new, so unable to purchase it. I paid $1499 for the product and expected to get out of this at least 6-7 years. There should be better product support. (update: The company contacted me and located one… Read more

Great Vacuum - pity about the batteries – Purchased two Backpac Vacs in Feb 2019 (2.5yrs ago). This gave us 8 batteries, the first two batteries died after about 18months and another two batteries will only hold half charge so pretty much useless. Battery warrantee is only 12months so I was told "bad luck" and they are very expensive to replace when compared to other brands. To replace 4… Read more

batteries let vacuum down – the vacuum cleaner is great. but i have nothing but trouble with the batteries not lasting any more than 12 months had first set replaced under warranty now they are not working. had to buy some more and they are very expensive not worth money. not buying any more will look for another brand next time. All because of the batteries Show details

Great for tiles and hard flooring – I used this vacuum as a domestic cleaner daily and find it great on tiles and wood flooring, also good on most carpets but if you have pets or people with long hair the rollers get clogged very easily. Would be better if you could remove rollers to clean head. I also find the straps on harness twist continuously, but overall a good sturdy vacuum cleaner. Show details · 1

Good but could do with fine tuning – Ok here we go, I am very pleased with my pacvac superpro 700 corded version but their are a few little niggles. Even though it is very light and comfortable to wear the straps tend to slip off and the carpet attachment feels slightly flimsy and not solid. Don’t let this put you off as I say I am pleased but comparing it to my Numatic ( the company… Read more · 2
that’s manufactures the Henry) rsv130 backpack vacuum is very solid and better suction, airflow being 48 litres per second compared to the pacvac being only 31 litres per second, my only niggle with the rsv130 has been the attachment on the top is a brittle sort of plastic which breaks quite easily and I have made my own modification but otherwise a superb machine all round , sorry pacvac this just needs a little tune up for a very solid machine which will sell a lot better, best regards to the pacvac team/engineers and everyone out there stay safe Mark from the U.K.
Lack of upright balance – Esthetics and functionality play important part when a device is put into real practice. In case of PACVAC BACKPACK VACUUM it looses its upright balance when 18-20 m electric extension cord is winded up and hang on the side of vacuums body. It simply falls over to its side. The problem with this vacuum's design is that the bottom part of the… Read more
cleaner's body is of smaller diameter combined with two supporting legs (part of the frame) are soft plastic and not leveled / long enough to keep the vacuum cleaner in upright position. It is easy fix but still such small details are forgotten. So we all hear about power of suction, accessories and other crap about a product , but does it really is put to the test by people who designing it? Think about it !!!!

Best back pack Vacuum by far – Purchased my PacVac in 2007 and has been a great unit to date. Its been used hours on end, day after day for domestic, commercial and even builders cleaning and never had an issue. I have used other brands and models but will chose my Superpro 700 over any of them. 13 years on, I have noticed the suction is a little weaker then it once was but… Read more · 1
it still does a fantastic job.
I would like to buy another Superpro 700 soon and retire my current unit to home use only and see how much more life i can get out of it when it will only be used 2-4 times per week.
This is awesome. The best vac I've ever used or owned – This is such a versatile vacuum works great on any flooring except wet ofcourse. Honestly the best vacuum I've used by far my entire 38years. I haven't bought a new vacuum in 4-5 years Show details

Building Site – Dirty indoor building site: 5 mins losses suction as bag clogs ie not true cyclone. Not good for heavy fine dusts, plaster dusts, wood dusts etc, a big ask I know. Other than that a well made unit, earplugs a necessity because of proximity of motor to ears. Good suction with clean filter bag (to begin with!) Show details

Can't fault it – I've owned the Pacvac for a couple of years now, and can't fault it. Powerful, comfortable, and most importantly easy to use and maintain. Doesn't get caught around corners or furniture, we only have a small 3 bedroom house (but have a large hairy dog) and I can do the whole house without having to unplug - the 15m chord is a huge benefit… Read more · 1
(provided you know how to coil it without kinking!). The bag system is cheap and simple and reliable, but the best part is that items inadvertently sucked up can be easily retrieved! I can't figure out why this style of vacuum cleaner isn't more popular for domestic (as opposed to commercial users - who mostly use this style) use. Good value too.
Really good unit – Sturdy, comfortable, efficient Industrial unit with HEPA filter. Spare parts (bags and filters) easy to get and inexpensive. Great if you want to do the whole house in one go. No nonsense and no frilly bits, just good clean(ing) operation. Would recommend to anyone, can even make vacuuming the car a lot easier! Show details · 1

Love it – Suction is great. Floor tool has goblin head which is very handy for doing corners, as long as I keep it clean. Very easy to manoeuvre around the house and cord is great and doesn't kink. I use replaceable paper bags inside the cloth bag and haven't needed to wash the cloth bag ever. Very easy to wear, has two sets of straps, one for waits and one… Read more · 2
for chest, only don't bend down too far as it may move up and above your head. Great storage and hasn't let me down in over 5 years of use. Note: don't use in wet areas as you may damage the motor!
Still too heavy – I find backpacks are still made too heavy. All the technology we have and they can't make them more ergonomical. Other than that its a very good vac. Packs up nicely to transport, sucks up continuously very well no matter how full it is. The straps are very comfortable on your back but again it would be great 1.5 kg lighter. Show details

My kids love this machine – We have lots of carpet and floor. I've spent years cajoling the five kids into vacuuming various areas - carrots and sticks. We have had drag-behind and upright cleaners galore. Then two years ago, the cleaner at my work said to try PacVac Superpro (which he was using). I love it - watched the whole video about how to use it, fishtail method etc.… Read more · 1
Made the kids watch it to. They all wanted to try it and ever since, two of them happily vacuum regularly. As do I. Much easier than drag behinds. Only problem now is we can't find the floor attachment and pipe, somehow we have lost them. So currently not so much fun. But a minor problem - overall it's been great.
THE BEST Vacuum Cleaner – We have had this vacuum for 3 years now and we are very happy it. We only use it in our small house (carpet and lino) but it has strong suction and we find the back pac vacuum versions so easy to use. This one is very comfortable. It's easy to clean, and easy to order replacement bags cheaply online. When it comes to vacuuming (Ugh), why would… Read more · 1
anyone try to save money on something that doesn't work well? This Superpro is well worth the extra money, even for home use. It makes vacuuming as good as doing the vacuuming ever can be.
We now have three of these – We now have three units. As a small commercial cleaning business with our main focus around office blocks and very busy restaurants -- these units are simply the most reliable -- they are in use every day for a minimum of 10 hours each and they just continue going. Spares are freely available and does not break the bank. The motor just goes and… Read more · 1

Simply the best vacuum i have ever used – I have owned for a year now and I can say that this is the best vacuum I have ever used. WARNING do not waste your money on a Dyson, you will regret it. know of the supreme toy eating power this instrument yields. It just works! What more can I say? Buy one right now! Buy one for every family member you know! Super Machine – I have used many vacuums, but Pacvac is the only one which stand out from other, it is because it does job so easy. the quality is great. Easy to change bags. i am using this vacuum almost every day. if i could not found Pacvac, i fill like job going to be hard for me. Show details · 1

I slap it on my back starting from one corner upstairs and keep on going downstairs. Suction is sooooo goood you have to let a bit of air in for carpets. Extremely happy :) Best wedding gift ever!
