Certainly been through the wars!
Henry HVR200I have owned a Numatic Junior for about maybe 6-7 years now, and I must say I am impressed by the amazing build quality of this machine, it has many battle scars and scuffs from the years and but it will never give up!
There are a few pros and cons about this machine (very few cons if I am being honest).
Pros
-The cord length on this vacuum is very handy, and will reach through the whole house without an issue.
-The bag compacity is honestly the best I have ever seen in any vacuum, I had a bag of seven paper bags when I first bought the machin
Simple & Reliable
Henry HVR160I brought the pet-care model for work purposes based on features and the smiling face.
It has some good features such as manual cord rewind 2 turbo nozzles and the standard nozzles which are good quality.
With a fresh bag it has pretty good suck for under 700 watts.
Has a good length of cord and hose for most needs.
Bag are good value and great size.
Main negatives I have with the Numatic machines in general or possibly because this model isn't fully commercial is the cosmetic things haven't lasted well. I've replaced the hose (because the end

Also the metal tubes and the floorhead are that hard to separate (requires lots of muscle to do) so when blockages occur it a pain, I try to separate regularly but if I forget it get stuck. Back to the pros it is very quiet and is good for short pile and commercial grade carpets which I vacuum 5 days a week in my business. It doesn't like our new thick pile carpet though so I would buy if you have thick or soft carpets.Hard Working Henry
Henry HVR200Henry is a British Made Classic. He is hardworking, robust and gets the Job done. We have 3 for our business and customers always comment on his smiley face. If we ever need another vacuum, we will go straight for another Henry without hesitation.

Henry HVR200Henry is my best employee and most trusted confidante. He works harder than a single mum and doesn't complain when we skip smoko. He's from the UK so he's vax'd, but I don't discriminate. He's refusing the booster though. "No covid in QLD," says Henry

A happy face does not equal a happy vacuum cleaner
Henry HVR200Henry is the British Leyland of vacuum cleaners. Instead of working out how to improve their product, the research team thought that putting a happy face on an old design would be "near enough"! Loss of suction through poorly attached hoses, a long cord attached to the base that trips the vacuum cleaner over every time you use it and mounting the heavy motor on top to ensure it is always unstable is maybe where they could have looked at what needs fixing. Now on our second replacement power head which, like the previous one, has failed two weeks since purchase. A masterclass in lazy product design, our Henry is destined to be an expensive piece of landfill.

Henry HVR200Have used a few vacuums over the years and this one is by far my fav. Have been using for a year now. It has simple settings- just on/off and simple twist adjustment on handle for suction strength. The suction strength is more than sufficient. I highly recommend trying an in-store demo to see if you like it. The cord is about 10m so I can clean my entire apartment keeping it plugged in to one power socket. He rolls around easily and is easy to pick up if need be. My sister has recently been enjoying using her new one too. I hear these last for years as well. Will have to wait to test that one.

Henry HVR200Low wattage motor with good suction, comes with many attachments, large dust capacity, I have bought extras from ebay to supplement Henry. I only use Henry after running over the worst of the mess with the old Kambrook Jaguar 25

Henry HVR200The only good thing is the long cord, and really Henry just gets tangled in it and I turn around and he's flipped over...errrrrr! Suction is minimal, extremely minimal, like there's none at all - and it leaves bits behind especially on hard floors due to the HARD bristles on the head that don't allow the bits to get through and be sucked up. I have to keep lifting the head up and actually place it on the bits so it can swallow them, it's like I haven't even vacuumed. Clunky machine, gets caught on walls when going through rooms, gets caught on

I'm going back to Godfrey's tomorrow to hopefully exchange it for the Miele Cat & Dog vac (which I have, and have used to death but it's really in a bad state now - still vacuums fantastically though). So very, very disappointed with Henry that I had a duty to warn others, and I berate him like a naughty child all the time. If you want a vacuum with good suction then give this brand a miss, what a waste of money! Cost me just under $500 & I bought it in the belief it would make my domestic & commercial cleans easier, but it's a nightmare and it's made them harder, and it's nowhere worth what I paid. I am soooo disappointed :(Hi M E E, sorry Henry didn't meet your expectations, we hope you can find the right vacuum for you!
The best money I have ever spent
Henry HVR200I love this vacuum it is used on carpet and tiles. The suction is fantastic, I have always used a Dyson bit I won’t look back now that I have a Henry. The suction on tiles to carpet stays the same and doesn’t change. The long cord means I can do my house without changing power points. Henry also has a long handle which means I don’t have to bent over when vacuuming and prevents getting a sore back.

Solid performer without the hype.
Henry HVR200I'd been researching vacuums for a while before buying this and I was torn between dyson and miele but when I saw Harvey Norman had this one on sale it made the decision easy being less than half the price of the others. This vacuum has a lot more suction than I expected even though it has a smaller motor than previous versions to comply with Eurpoean standards it is still very strong. So strong when vacumming carpet you need to open the valve on the hose or it just sucks so hard it drags. Whilst it is corded the cord is so long it can do my wh

Its funny no one in Australia seems to know about them except hotel housmaids. The bags are available at Godfreys (though the shop assistants never seem to realise they have them) and they last I mean you can go two months without changing one and you can reuse it if you can staple. They say hepa on the bags I don't know how they are rated they could be clearer on that and I can say the exhaust is clean enough for allegry sufferers like me. This was my main worry when I purchased it. It has a name and a face and is ugly enough to on building site or in the home. Straight forward just on and off no setting or complicated displays just gives maximum power quietly. They have many attachments but the ones supplied are all you need for home use. You don't have to put the eyes on but then again you really do.Love the pink colour
Henry HVR200Brought this vacuum to use for my business company.I chose pink vacuum because I like colour pink because my branding is pink.I also went for Henry brand because I know it pick up anything off the floor and has good suction and its bagless I brought extra long hose, that made it lot easier to clean all rooms I like that its great on carpets as well hard floors and when your finished you have reel to wind cable away. Only bad thing would be is pipe can come away when you pull hose around and its not secure enough to pull vacuum around when cleaning. Pick up pet hair ok

Love my Henry
Henry HVR200Looking for a new vaccum. I recalled how much my sister loves her Henry. So today I bought one and love it. Super long cord and can vacuum my whole house without changing power points.
Easy to move around. Robust and solid design.
Super suction and a big smile, that makes me happy to vacuum.
Love ya Henry.
New house cleaner
Henry HVR200Hi my wife has been using Henry for over six years cleaning new houses of brick construction and it has copped an absolute hammering but continues to operate exceedingly well it has had a replacement cord fitted and been through two sets of wheels and two on off switches that just wore out over time but the motor keeps going i am so impressed I bought another Henry for our home and a hetty for when Henry finally dies but it refuses to don’t know what the knockers are on about they probably sell other brand vacuums

Henry HVR200Going strong after ten years.
Simple no fuss design, does the job. Came with a number of attachments to get to those hard to clean spots. Good for wooden /tiled floors and carpets. Blag replacement is easy. We keep talking about getting an upgrade, but We can not fault our Henry, it's part of the family, we love it.
When we brought it, it did seem rather expensive having been bought over from the UK, but happy with our purchase. May it live long and prosper. ..

Hi. I plan to buy a Henry Home. Does it come with a dust bag inside or do I have to buy a dust bag separately to start using it? Thanks.
You’ll need to purchase bags. You can buy a reusable fabric one or Purchase paper or synthetic single use. Ebay has the best prices for single use bags.
Hi there, each Henry Home comes ready to use with one bag already installed in the machine and another spare bag, hope this helps!
I bought a henry today hvr200-11. Whats advertised on the outside of the box is different to whats inside. The vacuum works well on a tiled surface but shocking on carpet-cannot move the head forwards or backwards. useless - very disappointing. I've seen a few utube video of the sample problem.
Hi Suzan, sorry to hear you are having issues with your floor tool on carpets.
The Henry 200 is supplied with a combination floor tool, with two settings - one for carpets and one for hard floors. Make sure you change to the carpet setting by flicking the switch on the top of the black plastic floor tool that shifts the brushes on the floor tool into the up position. Also, on the bent stainless steel tube section, you will find a small plastic suction control valve. Try turning this to the fully open position (you will hear some suction here when your Henry is turned on) which should allow the floor tool to move freely on most carpets. If these solutions don't work for you, please don't hesitate sending an email to support@myhenry.com.au and we can try to help further on email or by phone call.

SK - MyHenry Team
Have tried all options-am taking it back to the shop.
The tool advertised on the box is different to the one supplied. Tool on box has one adjustment and a roller at back of tool, the item in the box has two adjustments and no roller. Just grabs carpet and can not move forward or back. Just dreadful.
Hi Suzan, thanks for the reply. Can you please email support@myhenry.com.au with the vacuum serial number (this is will be a 9-digit number on a label on top of the machine under the handle). We will try to help you resolve so as to save you a trip back to the store if we can!
