I am trying to convert my Aus $ to NZ $ but I have been unable to log in for a couple of days now, a message appears on the log in screen saying QantasMoney is unavailable at present. HELP I am in NZ and can't access my money.
Does Qantas cash card have any fees
No, doesn't
Technically it doesn't, however they give you poor exchange rates which make it much more expensive then using your bank credit card. It is the same as buying money at the airport, usually 20% worse than at a suburban office of the same company.
This is the only contact form I have found. I am a lifetime member of Qantas Club and have been trying to log in to my apparently dormant cash card account. Changed pin when requested at least twice. Still cannot log in. QC No: 0042515

You have a number at the back of the card and call them up and explain you situation
Thank you.
I have a qantas cash card and account and would like to know if it is possible to obtain another card for my account so that my husband can use it too. Thanks.
No it’s not. The card is very inflexible
No as far as I know you can't but you might as well get one for you husband there are ways to get it free if you google it so that he can also accumulate frequent flyer points as well and the points can be gifted to each other. When we go overseas we always use the one card but my wife just got hers for when she does shopping to accumulate more points. I also would like to point out that we have never encountered any difficulties using this card overseas
Just before I departed from Japan at an ATM I checked the JPY balances for my wifes and my card Thinking that when I got back to Australia I would cash out the remaining JPY to Australian dollars and then transfer that back to my Australian bank account however upon returning to Australia I opened the app and the website but could not find my JPY balances anywhere and hence I could not convert it back to Australian dollars , What has happened to the remaining JPY I had in the purse whilst I was in Japan ?
go on to their helpline - you will EVENTUALLY get to talk to someone - I had to request a special form to be sent to me to cash out my money - my card had been locked and it was a torturous process
What are the steps I follow to withdraw money from atm
Hi, the card is just like a normal bank card. You insert the card and follow the prompts, enter your pin no. and the amount you need to withdraw. You can choose what currency to withdraw in if overseas. You will be charged an amount to withdraw cash of approx. $1.95 AUD. Of course, you must have the cash in your account first though. We found it better to use the card when purchasing larger items or meals to avoid the $1.95 fee for cash. But of course you do need some cash for smaller purchases.
So I choose the credit option not savings or any other option?
how do I sign in to see how much money I have
Julie C, I would not touch Qantas cash with a bargepole. They left me high and dry on a recent trip to Vietnam when I couldn't use my and my partners card. Their Customer care leaves a lot to be desired. It has taken me 2 weeks to get the cash out of our cards. Try some other cash card! Steve Belton
If you have the Qantas App on your phone, it shows how much balance you have left
