Rascals Premium Nappies Newborn

These nappies gave my newborn baby the worst chemical burn nappy rash. Nothing would clear it up until I stopped using these nappies and swapped to another brand. The rash was gone almost overnight once I stopped using these. Don’t know what’s in it, but my baby reacted badly. Her bottom was red raw and on the verge of bleeding for almost a week. These nappies are horrible.

along the groin where the nappy is and on her upper thigh.

As they have given such a horrific rash, I am throwing them out as I would usually donate excess nappies etc but these are terrible.

I’m a medical Dr and have rarely seen such a rash from wearing a particular nappy brand yet seeing other posts I concur they do cause rashes which isn’t good enough considering this is meant to be a “premium brand”

Awful nappy and awful customer service – Bought these months back and multiple times gave my daughter burn marks. They have offered to replace with the same size nappies, which is [Content Removed] as she obviously will not fit them anyway and I would never use this brand again nor recommend it. I then said if that’s the only thing they would do for me then yes send it out and I can donate them. This didn’t happen as “shipping issues” they then offered me refund in form of Tesco gift card which I never received. They then said it would be received by email. Which has taken so far nearly 2 weeks (for supposedly an instant message email to be sent). I’m starting to think this company really does not like refunding or resolving issues with customers as clearly they have so many to deal with they just fob off customers until they give up. When burn marks on infants are happening I don’t think they realise it can be taken further. PLEASE don’t use these nappies, they are awful and I dread to think of how your child will end up burned, makes me feel awful to think any other parents have to go through watching their child scream in agony due to a simple nappy choice. No blow outs – I wish I had used these with my first bourn , he used to have so many blow outs . My second has had afew blowouts but only ever when wearing other brands not a single one with these nappies . I’m converted !!! nappies in a pack as size goes up . I love these so much I actually stumbles across this forum when I was googling wether I’ll be able to buy them in Australia as we will be moving soon and I’d hate to have to switch brands

Greatest of all time – I am so thankful for Rascal + Friends, luckily a friend had recommended them to me before my baby was born and I’m so pleased to say that I’ve never had to deal with any leakages or blowouts. Best nappy ever – Best nappy been using for 3 months since newborn. Although leaked sometimes and i don’t think it’s due to the nappy, some parents just didn’t wrap the nappy just tight enough or high enough to catch the poo from coming in all directions. So if you wear it properly, you will love this brand. Show details

New version is horrible! – Loved the old version of rascal+friends, they were soft, flexible and my son never ever leaked. Husband just purchased another pack and I noticed the design had changed and it now included a wetness indicator (great idea) but they were hard and stiff and worst of all my son leaked through them not once but two nights in a row within the 3 hour… Read more

mark. Not a coincidence as he never leaked through the old ones. Won't be buying again unless I can ensure the old version. Used to recommend to everyone but now I won't be.

burned my babies bum – The diaper burned my baby's skin and it took awhile to heal up. Started red then the skin burned off. It took days to heal and petroleum jelly worked to soothe it. They don't advertise being hypo allergenic on the box so I don't recommend for new born. Show details

Not impressed – This product this work for us. We started out with other brands that worked fine, then tried Rascal and friends but the nappies kept leaking through the log holes. I definitely wasn’t happy with the amount of laundry and spot-cleaning I had to do so I ditched the rest of the pack sadly.

The only nappy my baby will tolerate – I absolutely recommend these nappies, 100%. My baby had terrible nappy rash. Tried different creams, different ointment, different nappies. When we tried Rascal and friends, in a matter of a couple of days, the rash was completely gone. Show details

Leaked all the time – Purchased them from Coles online on special and loved the sound of the product. Unfortunately they leak all the time and it’s not much fun if you are nursing your baby and it leaks on you as well as them. Now going to try Baby Love as a few of my mother group highly recommend them. Show details

Great product better than huggies – Being a first time mum it was tough to choose a nappy that would be gentle on my bub plus would not leak. I have used huggies that would leak after 6hrs. This one i have used for 12 hrs through cold nights no change and no leaks till morning. Love it. Show details

Best nappy ever – My poor bub was getting rashes with every nappy we tried (Huggies, baby love, little ones) but these have been amazing. Not once have the leaked. They are super soft and easy to put on and seem a lot more comfortable for my baby. These really are amazing Show details
