Does what is says on the packet – We replaced an older combustion fire place that had started to deteriorate with the Regency Renmark. Easy to install, feels solid and we love the large window. The fan is a nice extra although we rarely use it as it pumps enough heat without it. We bought it as it came with good reviews both online and in-store and the fact that it was designed and manufactured in Canada was a big plus.

Purchased in at Barbeques Galore.

Great customer follow up – See my other review which (1) for some bizarre reason I am unable to add a comment to and (2) gives my experience with Regency. The good news is that Regency has come thru. They have sent me a repair kit for the door seal and I am only too happy to undertake the fix. We had a little lag in the communication but that doesn't matter for in the end there is a great outcome. So thanks to Regency.

Warranty is very limited – Bought this fireplace in Feb 2018 for my place in Tasmania. In June 2018 I noticed, after very limited use of the fireplace (limited use because I dont live permanently in Tasmania), that the seal around the door was coming off and the ends were frayed. I contacted the shop who in turn contacted the wholesaler and my request to have this fixed under warranty was knocked back. I pointed out the very limited use of the fire and that it had been bought only 5 months ago. The refute was that warranty only covered the metal frame of the fireplace.

So bewarned even if you use the fire only once and the seal or the glass window, which is also not covered by warranty, fail then you are buggered. You cant claim against poor quality of these parts.

Overall the fire seems to work OK but this shameful and petty decline of my warranty claim leaves me to suggest you avoid purchasing the product.
