Load of rubbush. Very weak and painful shave – Had this purchased for me as a present. I have never owned one of these rotory shavers before, so I was quite looking forward to trying it out. FIrst shave was very disappointing. The thing is so light and plasticky it doesn't "stick" to your face like a heavier model. The shave was poor, the hair jammed regularly in the foils causing pain. too cheaply made to be taken seriously. This may be ok for a young boy with thin hair, but definately not for a 51 with thick beard hair.

Average; you get what you pay for – Pretty average. I've owned better Remington shavers than this. Spend more and get a better one. I now own a Remington R5150 which is far better. First one of those lasted 5 years.

Worth for price – Not bad at all. It works very well on cheek but not good for chin. Have to use razor for chin. I bought R8150AU for $40. Not bad for this price. Charging : can use for five shaves per full charge. Quick charge is good option. I would reccomand this.

Diappointed - shaves OK but pivot design very noisy – Have had this shaver a week and I'm disappointed with it. It replaced a 5 year old Remington Titanium fixed 3 head shaver after its battery died. I was happy with the old one, so looked at this model as a replacement. The shaver cuts OK, certainly not as good as my old one when it had new blades - but the pivot head is very noisy. I'd go so far… Read more

as to say it's a design fault. If you look at the top of the shaver body, it has a cut out where the small button for opening the head drops into it. The more expensive ones don't have this and the distance between the head and the base appears to be larger on the more expensive models such as the SR9130A. Importantly, you can see that model has no cut out in the top of the body. Every time you shave this this one, all you hear is the large plastic head banging against the plastic in the top of the base and the cut out and I've found it very annoying - in fact so annoying, it's going back. I've found this shaver has a far noisier motor than my old one and the pivotable head is quite large, so you have to watch when shaving under the nose. Quick charging ability Big, noisy pivot head sounds and feels plasticy and noisy motor
