Bought a trio of Pro 3, with solar panel, in June 2023 for about $369, battery life has been good and panels have shown 100% charged for almost 3 years. Cameras took a fair bit of effort to set up, but finally got them working. Have had many false… Read more

alarms , and no matter what settings I've had they have continued, although of late a couple of diff settings have helped. My 2 biggest issues has been the breakdown of two of the brackets holding the cameras to the house fascia, it appears that the quality of the plastic components are below standard, luckily my supplier replaced one free of charge, however today I see another bracket has broken and is useless. Now my biggest problem 1 camera stopped working about 2 months ago , have done 12 resets , no good, camera is shot, and last week another camera went and resets have done nothing. So 1 camera lasted 30 months and the 3rd almost 3 years. I would have hoped they should have lasted a lot longer than this. My dilemma do I just buy new ones or go different brand.

Follow-up  · All of the above questions have reasonable results, panels have been exceptional, 3 years old and still getting 100% charge on battery, app ok, sensitive settings are very fiddly and hard to adjust precisely, video is good, except if you really zoom in. My main issue 2 of the 3 cameras only lasted 3 years, disappointing.

Unfortunately I’ve had a terrible experience with this camera.. We followed all the instructions and I had double checked with the tech support that all the settings were correct. I tried for over a week and 27 emails to text support and in the… Read more

end they told me that it was a warranty claim because everything was correct. It just wasn’t recording correctly.

To get to the support was the final three emails that I screenshot every single setting on my phone and they could tell me that it was correct and they couldn’t see why I wasn’t working and recording at all during the night and missed people walking in and out of my house right in front of the camera.

The customer service is very generic and repetitive, hence the 27 emails I said I Didn’t want to return it. I just wanted help with the settings to make sure they are correct because I wanted to use the camera. They would only reply to you once a day and it was always in the evening.

The funniest thing was they offered me a discount on more cameras. I said I do not want a discount. I just want the camera that I do have to work. Why would I want to buy more cameras? It was baffling.

The customer service were polite, but it appeared that they weren’t reading my emails correctly. I ended up returning the camera which is disappointing because I researched it and I thought that it was going to be fine. They did say if they were going to send out another camera that it would work exactly the same .

I have heard so many good things about these cameras and I was so disappointed. Their customer service response time was absolutely terrible.

Follow-up  · my return process was very easy because I went through Costco. That’s where I purchased it and they are fantastic. The setup issues that I had after over 20 emails was never resolved. They said the setup was fine in the end and that even if they sent me out a new one they couldn’t promise me that it would be any better but also offered me a… Read more

Camera qualities actually not too bad however battery life is anywhere between a week to two weeks it's best. There is no way that these cameras will last a month even if they face a wall. Show details

I purchased 3 Argus 3 Pro cameras. Two of them I bought in the middle of last year. I must say it’s been a very frustrating & exhausting journey owning these cameras, going back and forth with their support department for the last 5 months trying to get the cameras to do what they’re supposed to do. Continually having intermittent performance… Read more

issues with recording and identifying humans and detecting animals. Motion sensor at times works for identifying humans and other times it doesn’t. Completely unreliable. Continually frustrated with having to deal with numerous individuals from support team without any results. Even thou one of the cameras was replaced being under warranty and at my $20 postage expense, the situation hasn’t changed. Since than tried numerous times to get back to support department but all my emails were completely ignored. What kind of support is that supposed to be? Now I have both cameras not working that are under the warranty. Poorly designed. I suggest to avoid this company of purchasing this product that’s completely useless/unreliable, and bypass potential experience as mine.

Not sure why there are so many negative reviews as my experience has been quite different. Compared to previous experience with the "big water bird" brand this has been a breath of fresh air. I've replaced all my wireless security cameras made by "Sw@n". Although those devices had quality hardware components, they have terrible software and bad… Read more

wireless idesign. Ok, back to Reolink. It simply works and never missed a beat. Yes, certainly not perfect but if you get your head around the setup, the install becomes virtually set and forget. Unfortunately, I can't give them a 5 star rating mainly due to the solar panel specified for these devices. In my view they are under powered with little margin for error. Wouldn't waste money on those. A design flaw which might have been corrected by now. Being wireless, self powered devices, I'm serious about function under all weather conditions. So, I reluctantly bought the Swan solar panels which are well made and have a lot more power. This combination has served me very well. Not missing a beat for more than 2 years. Therefore I'd recommend Reolink cameras for a value deal. Please note: All wireless camera systems require strong and reliable wireless signals supported by a quality router. In addition to that, an Internet connection with low latency and lot of bandwidth eliminates frustration and delays. My own personal frustrations with viewing in the app have been addressed by adjustments to my local network. It's this reality that most people don't realize or want to confront. No vendor will ever stress the importance of this consideration enough as they don't want to compromise sales. Message to all: Get over yourself with regards network issues, spend the money, deal with those effectively and you should be satisfied this product's performance

Don't know whether they're coming or going – Bought this camera late last year, was great at recording people leaving the premises (not quite the idea) rather defeats the purpose of a security camera. So was returned through one of the most convoluted and awkward processes . Second camera replacement arrived and no matter how many attempts it would not connect. Currently, still have the… Read more

camera in my possession awaiting another warranty claim and return postage, again at $20 my expense. I can't begin to relate the number of emails I have sent and constantly being frustrated by the support team not completely reading and understanding the situation. I really don't know how many are employed in support but the number of different names appearing was incredible. (probably one person picking names from a hat). Bottom line is avoid this company and it's products. If you have purchased one I sincerely hope it keeps working.
