I have one Reolink Camera at my home that I can't Fault. However, I am on my 3rd Go Ranger at my holiday home. They do not sense anything and send alerts as I need them to. And worst of all, every time I send one back, they send me a refurbished… Read more

camera. This last time they PROMISED me a new camera. NUP still got a refurbished one. Very disappointed.

Follow-up  · It's a 5G solar camera. The replacement camera is working fine, so far!

Great data use as it can transmit low, med or hi res video, as required. Great if you are using this camera in limited capacity, less than 10m distance, less that 1 movement per hour, dialling into the camera only 1-2 times per day, no alarms on the unit active or notifications back to the user. Anything more that this and the battery will slowly… Read more

run down in a week, as the solar panel is only 6Watts, to power the camera, recharge the battery, and the battery to run the camera at night with Infra Red light, with no solar recharging. It does not cope. Worse is that the battery goes from the last 30% to 0% in 15minutes. Great idea is onboard storage and mobile network access to the camera. Great PC and android app. Edit: I repositioned solar panel and adjusted recording setting. Battery now going to 100% everyday.

Don't buy any REOlink cameras - they don't work and no refund – I paid $USD455 for 3 cameras and 3 solar panels but it was a total waste of money. I purchased 2x Argus PT 2K and 1x Argus Pro. All these cameras do not work. - The app is so flaky. - The camera doesn't trigger very much when there is someone or something in front of it -The app hardly ever connects to the cameras, so even when it does tell you… Read more

there is movement, you cannot connect to the camera to see what it was. So then what is the point of these cameras?

I am constantly trying to connect to the cameras but simply cannot. It's very annoying because how am I supposed to see what's going on when I can't connect to the app??

When I tried to get a refund or for them to fix it, their level 1 support was helpful but they can't do anything other than the general support stuff. They then send it to a senior team who basically told me that my cameras are out of warranty (we have consumer guarantee laws in Australia but they don't care about that) and then they offered to give me a 10% discount if i wanted to buy new cameras. So their cameras don't work, they can't do anything to fix them or replace them and they want me to buy more of their dud products. I don't think so. I mean, talk about terrible customer service. They are ensuring I do not buy any of their products, tell everyone how bad their products are, post on social media and here, so more people know their products are bad. There is zero good will with this company, it's only about profits and no customer service.

And if you see a company doesn't allow Google reviews, you can be assured the company has disabled it because they get very BAD reviews. Similarly to here, more bad reviews.

Just save your money and don't buy any REOLink products.

Frequently not operating – My camera fails frequently. I have worked through all the troubleshooting tips without success. Have previously experienced difficulty with a faulty solar panel which was eventually replaced after I agreed to pay postage on the replacement. I have a 5 bar 4g network coverage, securely attached aerial etc etc. It is impossible to rely on the… Read more

integrity of the system particularly when I am absent and relying on the camera for security.

Reolink 4g cameras are not cheap and I also pay for data even when the camera isn't working.

The process of resolving problems with Reolink has proven to be extremely time consuming in the past.

Essentially the same as the Go for function with the addition of pan function – See Go review, equally good. Has been in action for 2 years now with no issues. Very useful for properties with no land line . Pans 350 degrees horizontally and about 30 degrees vertically.
