Repco 400AMP Booster Cables

Does its job – So I bought a set of 2.5m, 400A surge protected leads from repco. Nothing special, they were about $35 from memory. Anywho one fateful day my friend at school decided to leave his lights on and send his battery flat. His car is an older model ford, 4.0L engine do obviously has a larger battery than the Mazda 3 we used to start it. Connect it all up the way it says, wait a few seconds and give it a crank. Nearly nothing.

Give it about 30 seconds with the Mazda running, a much larger crank but still not quite there.

About another 20 seconds and ta-da!

So they did their job. Not fantastically but that ca be attributed to a number of factors. Does its job, cheap, leads didn't heat up excessively like some cheap ones.
