Revlon ColourStay Mineral Foundation

Great Foundation – I'm quite fussy about all cosmetics and skincare but this foundation satisfies me! I bought this for the first time.I have a dried, aging skin with some freckles. The foundation stays all day and my skin doesn't get dry, even around my eyes. It does not "fully" cover my post-acne stains but pretty much cover. My skin looks fresh and younger and… Read more
I'm quite happy with this product. I also use Revlon Colourstay powder foundation on top of it which I also recommend. Both are great products and can't believe I can get them for very inexpensive price.
Must buy – The staying power and natural finish this foundation gives is second to none. I have pigmented skin and this is one of the only products that comes close to really covering it The shades match perfectly with all skin tones and it is great value for money. If you want great coverage at a reasonable price this is the product for you. It softens the skin while provide full even coverage. It goes on easily and isnt greasy.
OK – Reasonably priced for middle range makeup. Colour is reasonably close to my fair Asian skin. Quick to apply when I'm in a rush from the pool or gym, though you do have to shake bottle a few times to get enough powder for one application. The powder is a bit clumpy like flour and clumps in the lid. When you brush onto your skin, most of it drops… Read more
off, so hard to get much coverage. Don't know how they can call it Colourstay. Feels light like I'm not wearing any makeup because, well, I probably aren't wearing any makeup. There are many better powders with better coverage and less waste if you apply with sponge like Benefit (which also has great Asian matched colour). Colour matches my fair Asian colouring. Powder is quick to apply, blends on reasonably well without much effort. About 20% of powder sticks to skin, end up wasting 80%. Can only get light coverage.
Excellent – I really love this mineral foundation. I have tried some very expensive brands and they just did not match up to this. It blends so well with my skintone and it looks like I'm not wearing make up at all. It's really quick and easy to apply in one step and you can pop it in your bag cause it has an in-built brush. It's a resonably priced,… Read more
lightwieght makeup and it's availible in most department stores and lots of chemists. Blends well with skintone, convienient design with brust inbuilt so you can put it in your bag.
Bad – It is a shocker! I wouldn't recommend it for a foundation as there are way better products on the marker that are around the same price range of $36.95- it's only good use might be for a powder... A real shame as revlon is usually really good! The idea sounds fantastic that foundation can be built up depending upon how much coverage you want and… Read more
its mineral! Worst foundation I have used- it basically looks like a powder when it is applied.
It gives that total cake look and doesn't stay on when it is claimed to be "colorstay."
Building up the coverage takes ages as you have to keep shaking the bottom of the pot with the lid on then pull the brush out onto your face. At times the powder (that is meant to be a foundation) goes all over the place as it comes on in chucks.
Bad – Overall, this is a good foundation for a reasonable price but it just has the most annoying design ever! It takes ages just to cover your face which isn't good for when you're in a rush. The bottle is quite small so you only get tiny amounts of foundation out, and the brush isn't that big. They should definitely re-design the bottle. Nice… Read more
coverage that you can build up, and it hides pimples well. The whole design is so frustrating!!! First of all, it's impossible to get the actual foundation out, because you have to keep on shaking it out. Secondly, the brush is connected to the cap which makes it annoying and clumsy to use.
