Ripped off and now nowhere to be found – Paid $11,000 to this dodgy trade back in January to repair roof and gutters. (ZERO STAR RATING) Roof leaked worse than before – They 'fixed' my leaky roof, and I paid the account. Soon after, the roof was leaking again, even worse than before they worked on it. I tried to contact them via phone, text and email without success. They were a total waste of my money and time. Another roofing company fixed the issue easily for me and I've had no issue since. They said Ridgeway's workmanship was terrible.

Not to be trusted – Had a small leak but pointing was old and tired so looked to have it redone. Selected Ridgeway and told them to go ahead in Feb. 3rd Feb received a call to say they would be there on 4th. Supposedly did the job, made a mess, ask for payment immediately on the spot. rained and leak was still there. Phoned and left a message, no response. Left an SMS, no response, emailed no response.

I now see their Facebook page no longer exists and a message on their website to say they have an overseas emergency and to contact them by email, which they don’t respond to. They cancelled their ABN on 1/2/22.

At least they can’t fleece anyone else, but I wouldn’t be surprised if they are operation under a different name now.

Rubbish 5 years warranty no leaking roof – Came and inspected my leaking roof, quoted me $5k and guaranteed me would not leak anymore. would follow it up. But nothing been done. Called him, left a message, no replies. Then, called again after rainy days, was told they are very busy and could only go have a look in few weeks time, no guarantee when.

Would love to support family business, but this experience has taught me a very good lesson. There is No such a thing as a Guarantee. Once you paid, you are on your own.

Almost taken to the cleaners – I invited Ridgeway to quote on repairing a leaking gutter. The quote was $3500 including scaffolding to replace 8 metres of gutter. requested a different tradie to attend. Cost for replacing the Dow pipe (not 8 metres of gutter in good nick)? $360 !!! Beware.

prompt service arranged by John to clean gutters and downpipes – Excellent worker David, big job gutters full of rubbish did an excellent job no messing about, had to move tiles to access gutter alongside pergola, not slap- dash. And cleaned up well, put rubbish from gutters into bucket and our bin. Very polite Janet

Bad service – I am just checking his work he said on his invoice that all chimneys have been closed off and l paid for that,l don't know of he has done that.l will get back.very rude and aggressive man had to call police

Extremely professional and easy to deal with – After dramatic and poor experiences with my builder. John from Ridgeway Roofing & guttering did amazing job and quick fix with our water leak. Dont bother – I contacted X for a quote on a roof replacement. He was slow to return my phone calls,the first warning,then I waited for him to turn up at my property at the designated time, for the quote,but he didnt show!

Professional – A very thorough job was done on the roof, and even some accidental damage was paid for without any problems. John is approachable, has integrity, and stands by his work.
