Russell Hobbs Eco One Cup

Wish they would bring this back on the market. Ours is years old and I fear it won't last forever. All my friends comment how efficient it is. They ask "where can I get one?" Please consider bringing it back.

Perfect kettle for one – I love this kettle and want to buy one for a friend who is unable to pour out a kettle now. BUT problem is I can't find one to buy!

Brilliant. Best invention ever! – This is the best kettle because I could put the teabags in the cup, switch it on, go do other things & my tea is brewing. It’s also power saving and quick.Unfortunately it has this moment broken down after many years use. I really, really want another one. the button and coming back to an empty cup and have to re-boil the water again (I like my tea strong, steeped for quite awhile, and not too hot), it’s just perfect for me in so many ways.

I am officially in love with a kettle – I had never seen or heard of these before and bought one for $5 on Gumtree without actually realising what it was. I am totally thrilled with it. Strong chemical smell in the water – I wanted a small kettle, so bought this one after reading all the good reviews. But I have been reluctant to use it as it's all plastic inside, and it smells! full kettles of water, but there was no change, it still smells. The chemicals in the plastic probably leach out and into the water, which can't be good for you. Don't waste your money on this one!

Simply the best you can but but no more stock – I managed to buy one a display sample 18 months ago then got another last week at Cash Converters new for $25.00 a steal. Why cant one buy the best gadget now days? They are to me just the greatest means of making a cuppa tea or coffee at at half the cost of boiling a kettle.

Purchased 4 it was so good – The first of these I bought for an elderly friend who still says (1 1/2 years on) it was the best present she's ever got. (She has rheumatism.) A family member, who originally passed on it, put in a request for one after using mine a couple of times. All are still working well at this point in time. Sadly, It no longer appears to be in production: maybe not enough spent on marketing, or it's original price point was too high.

Sadly it has died – Bought from Harvey Norman in August 2012 and as it was on special bought two, one for a spare. I loved it and it worked so well after two years I gave the spare to a friend. In December 2015 it developed a fault and blew fuses, so had to throw it away. The spare I gave to a friend is still working well. I guess three years is OK for a cheap modern appliance. I have replaced it with a Tefal Mini kettle for which I have written a separate review.

Suprised me with just how much I like this product – When I ordered my one cup kettle, I was very uncertain whether I'd like it or not. seconds. I can make 2 cups of coffee with the one cup kettle quicker than I could make 2 cups of coffee with the old kettle, it boils the water that quick.

The one negative I did experience with this product, was when we first received it, I found it awkward to put the water into the kettle and kept spilling water all over the place. This is no longer an issue though, as we've since gotten a plastic cup which we use to pour the water perfectly into the kettle.

Considering how little this kettle costs, it's an absolute winner. It impressed me so much, I've since ordered another for my mother.

Highly recommended for anyone in need of a new kettle, or looking to replace their old one.

won't want to go back to the usual kettles. It is fast, economic and looks really quirkie and it's a Russell Hobbs. Do yourself and buy one! You will not be sorry! Harvey Norman has since discontinued this product buy check on-line and you will find it.

the boiled water pours straight into your cup. You might have to re-heat your tea if you've forgotten about it - but at least it's made and well brewed! For a large mug, the water boils in just over 1 minute. I got straight online and ordered another for my parents.

Still going strong – I've had this little kettle for more than three years and it's still going strong. After wrist damage I have trouble lifting kettles to fill and pour. No longer! time ive spooned my coffee n sugar in (or opened and put in my tbag in), its full of boiling boiling hot water and I just LOVE IT!!!!! He bought one for my mum too and she loves not ifting a heavy kettle at 70yrs old. My neck is grateful too. Great little machine – Since buying my Russell Hobbs Eco One Cup I have not used my heavy kettle to make my coffees. This is a great little machine which takes up less space on my small bench top. Quick and easy to use, I use it to make cup a soup, tea and ciffees. My friends want one too. Quick to heat up and dispense boiling water. Some tines a hassle when you have 2 or 3 visitors.

Fantastic! – Pours automatically onto whatever I put in mug, so it's ready to drink. No heavy kettle to lift, so doesn't affect my arthritis. Boils in seconds, wish I'd been able to buy it years ago. Looks good and get a lot of comments when friends see it. Excellent buy, so very happy customer. Really saves electricitty. Quick and easy, perfect results. Nothing - only improvement if possible would be stainless steel inside.
