Russell Hobbs Glass Pannini press – This is a great pannini press by Russell Hobbs had no trouble in working it and toasted the panninis a treat went well with the deccor of my kitchen as well, even had the Russell Hobbs Toaster that matched both products are still working great, Teflon coating are still on cleans well with a easy wipe down would recommend to anyone looking for a good reliable pannini press Show details
Cheap teflon peels away – Not impressed with this one as I have the toaster, panini press and kettle, The teflon does not stick on to the surface it's put on and comes off onto your bread. It did this a month after I bought it so I threw it away as teflon in your stomach is extremely bad. The kettle and toaster in this brand was good and still going after 16 years use Show details
Not recommended – I received the press as a gift and it was left in my glory box for years unused, I recently started to use it, I have never used anything but a plastic flip to get things out. It looks like it has been scrapped at with a metal knife, I am very upset about it as it looks fantastic, I have a lot of russell hobbs devices and this is the only one I have had an issue with, no wonder they are discontinued.
Good – The second time this was used a friend used a flat metal tool to remove a sandwich. It was not sharp but managed to scrape some of the non stick surface off it. Since then it gets limited use. Again I find that the visual appeal is there but it is lacking in quality. I would not purchas Russell Hobbs again after I have issues with quality with my… Read more
toaster , kettle and sandwich press. Top marks for style but very low for quality. Looks good, does its job well Light cover fell out.The top glass section looks good but would be good if it where sealed so it does not have to be removed to clean it properly.
Excellent – first at all the paniani press is stylish so it adds up to the overall look of my kitchen, not just your usual kitchen aid. Secondly it's practical, works great, fast, easy to clean. looks, good size, fast
Bad – I have this and have had the matching toaster and have to say I am not too impressed with this Russell Hobbs line. They have put everything into the look of it and the quality is not there. The hinges are such poor quality that the thing is very rickety. However, I have used it dozens of times over the past few years so it has done its job. It… Read more
works well, heats evenly and the sandwiches come out well toasted. Looked nice when new. The top does not sit flat on the sandwiches, so they are a bit flat at one end. The nonstick finish wears off which is really bad for you so I have to use baking paper in between that and the food. There is no on/off button, once its plugged in it is just on. The top needs to be unscrewed and removed for cleaning.
Quality Product – We have had this sandwich maker for years and have loved every toasted sandwich that has come out of it. Nothing sticks to the surface, including cheese. It looks stylish and cooks everything perfectly. We could not do without this in our kitchen. Even after years of use (and some of the nonstick surface coming off) it never sticks and we still use it very regularly. stylish, cooks well Show reply
