Great little steamer – I use this garnet steam over an iron for my dresses and blouses. It works a treat for silk, viscose and light weight cottons. It’s really great for relaxing viscose fabrics that have shrunk. I also use it on heavier weight cottons and linens and whilst it doesn’t do the same as an iron, it’s good enough in my opinion. The water vessel is big enough to do perhaps 2-3 items before it needs a refill.
Packs a punch – I had purchased a big bulky garment steamer years ago and it finally stopped working so I thought I’d try this! When I wash shirts pants etc I put them on a coat hanger and use this steamer straight away it’s compact it’s easy to fill it heats up fast & for its size it packs a punch and there’s no bulky steamer when you finish using it you can put it in a cupboard, love this steamer no more iron and ironing board Show details
Great as a travel companion but not a fulltime garment steamer or to replace an iron – The handheld steamer has a few pros. It's compact and heats up very quickly. I enjoyed adding another attachment that enables you to finely steam your own perfume onto the garments. I don't feel the perfume lasts though. It seems to only smell while steaming and disappears immediately from the garment.. Filling the water compartment up is easy, it… Read more
isn't overly heavy. There is a lint attachment that works well on black materials. The sticker peeled away from the steam though on first use. A lint roller is 100 times for effective.
I used it on various materials. Unfortunately this is kind of where the pros stop. Crinkled linen was the hardest to smooth. Using an entire tank of water with minimal results. I was much better off setting up the ironing board and ironing them. When steaming I hung the clothes on a hook against a tiled wall in the bathroom and found I really needed to stretch out the material and get the steamer directly on the surface while pulling down. I wouldn't recommend this product for linen or thicker materials. I assumed Viscose material would be perfect for the steam out wrinkles easily but again I found the steam to be lacking power to really pull out decent wrinkles. I used an entire tank of water for 1 blouse.
I think It's great for a refresh of an already iron outfit, or if you are travelling and only a few things to do. Or, if you are happy to refill the water tank with every garment.
I do like the freshen up appeal of running a steamer over clothes that have already been worn, or even pillows and mattress's. This is something I will be doing over the coming weeks.
This won't replace my use of an iron at all unfortunately but it certainly makes it easier at times if you've got a few creases that need a quick steam out to refresh.
Will add more to this in time and I use it for different things!
Ideal for a wardrobe of delicate fabrics – I’d always been curious about handheld steamers so jumped at the chance to trial and keep one in exchange for an honest review. I have several Russell Hobbs appliances already so expected it to be of high quality and it did not disappoint. The steamer itself is attractive and stylish in navy blue with a rose gold trim. The instruction booklet is… Read more
pretty straightforward and it was easy to get started. It was a good weight but not too heavy in your hand. It was comfortable to hold. The hardest thing was working out a technique to hold the steamer in one hand and the clothing item taut in the other and run it down to the very edges without burning myself. I’m still working on that.
I have nothing to compare it to but was a little surprised at how fast it chews through the water. I’d only steamed 2 blouses and already needed to refill the 200ml water tank. I liked that there was an optional steam trigger lock button so no need to hold the trigger for constant steam.
I found the steamer far more suited to delicate thin fabrics, especially those that could easily be scorched by an iron. It was very effective on a cheesecloth style blouse (see photo) a crepe blouse and a silk look blouse. It did not do so well on my cotton t shirts, they still needed the crispness that only an iron can give.
The steamer comes with optional attachments to infuse a scent into your garments but gave no scent samples or suggestions of anything specific to use. I didn’t really see the point of this and felt it was a bit gimmicky and I didn’t want my clothes to smell like my perfume or room freshener. I guess you could use Febreze fabric refresher on the scent infuser but I would normally just spray this directly onto the item.
I felt the upholstery attachment was useful to have to sanitise mattresses, pet beds and stuffed toys. Just be sure to give them time to air afterwards as they will be damp from the steam. This attachment can also be used on curtains; unfortunately I didn’t have any curtains to steam but I have seen hand steamers used on freshly washed and hung curtains at work, that were full of wrinkles, and was impressed by the results.
Now I’m at the end of the trial I intend to gift this steamer to my daughter who works for the airlines and has a corporate wardrobe of delicate chiffon style blouses and skirts etc, as I think it would be perfectly suited for that. Overall, I think this steamer would be nice to have in addition to your iron, but could not replace it completely.
First time steamer now life long steamer – I've had a good chance of using this steamer in almost every way that I could. When unboxing, you'll notice inside is the steamer unit itself with an attached super long 3m electrical cord, 3 head attachments for different fabrics and delicates etc, 4 scent infuser attachments, and the instruction booklet. Because I have never used a steamer in… Read more
my life, I did read the booklet and gained some useful information from what was explained within. My first use of the steamer was on a set of sheer curtains that still had the original folds and creases throughout the whole material. These curtains fill a whole wall 7.5m wide by 2.7m tall. I first filled the water container with filtered water as suggested in the booklet and fit the appropriate head to the unit for the particular material being steamed. After plugging an extension lead into the wall to be sure I can reach the whole curtain, I plugged in the steamer and turned it on. Heat up was quick - ready to use within a minute. 1800w of power means it gets quite hot. My partner used it first to have a go on the curtains. She said it felt a bit heavy after using it for 3-4 minutes. As she has never steamed before too, she zoomed up and down the curtain and it didn't produce the results she was expecting. I suggested she slow down. She got impatient so I took over. I steadily took it slow and saw that it worked fantastic. Some of these creases were sharp and obvious but going over them slowly with the steamer took them all out. A ended up being a very long task taking about an hour and a half to do the whole set of curtains. We calculated that we got around 6 minutes or so from each 200mL tank of water. Taking into consideration of time between fills and short pauses during steaming, I estimate I filled about 9 or 10 times for this massive task. Over the following weeks, we tried clothing and bedding. We even used the included scent infuser attachments and added some essential oils to steam her work shirts. With a little bit of lavender on the infuser, she was able to steam all 5 of her work shirt upper halves to give them a nice calming scent which lasted the whole shift. In a childcare environment, she can usually end up hot, sweaty, and dirty especially during summer. But she left the days end with a sense of freshness and smelling nice. Full length dresses were easy to de-crease whilst hanging up. Steaming two full length dresses used about a tank of water. Onto bedding, I read in the booklet that steaming the mattress could be beneficial for sanitising so I thought I'd give it a try. I have a full foam mattress that has never been steamed. We use a mattress protector and the mattress itself is still very clean, even after owning it for almost 7 years. But I gave it a go anyway and it was a tedious job. It didn't hurt to try. I let the mattress air out under the fan for the day before re-sheeting it. The only thing I did not do was the fabric lounge. We only have the one lounge and it is just on one year old with no dirt or stain whatsoever. We didn't feel the need to steam it. All in all, clothing was super easy and reasonably quick to steam out. Curtains are a big task but it does work well when you find your rhythm. For a tiny adult lady, the unit can get heavy in the hand after a few minutes of work but this shouldn't be a problem for only a few garments that need steaming. Heat up is quick. The build quality seems great. Information in the booklet help you choose the right head to use for the right occasion. I'm quite happy with the steamer and will be a regular user moving forward.
Excellent as a back-up to your steaming needs only – This review is broken up into a number of sections that will give you the user (you) to use your preferred browser's "Find on page" function to skip to the area of interest. current and past.
And as part of the Ambassador's Program, I will be submitting this review based on my own experiences and reasoning to inform you as the potential buyer / consumer in looking at something within your budget and needs.
[The Product] Looking at the packaging and taking hold of the product in your hand, it has a modern presence with a somewhat fashionable stylish throughout. Where the expected audience targets women more than men. The colour used throughout the product exudes a level of quality by included a copper mirror finish at the top and at the base of the unit. And the combination does compliment each other very well. What I will say is that the cord attached to the unit however, reminds me of the 1980s with the older generation of ironing devices and gave an immediate tacky feel to the overall appearance.
[The Package] Upon initial inspection of this product, the packaging upon face value showed all of the necessary information and delivering expected outcomes through several photographed images.
The multicoloured header or ribbon located at the top below the brand at first glance, I assumed were international flags. Though looking closer, reminded me rolled-up business ties until you start looking at the very top of the packaging that gives you a more determined view referring to business shirts.
Looking at the base of the packaging underneath, to the right side, where it mentions “Food & Accessories not included”. I don’t particularly understand why that is present? After all, this is not a product for any of those situations other than a steam for non-edible fabrics.
Opening the box at the top after cutting your way through the plastic seal; you’re greeted with a sticker at the lid. At first glance, it confused me, because doe sit imply that the product was tested at the Manufacturing end; or was it tested when it arrived back into Australia or New Zealand? Where a sticker was added and resealed?
Then working your way down and peeling pieces of cardboard, you’re greeted with the main unit as well as some accessories in clear plastic.
I then spot the manual and pulled it out. Upon initial inspection, the manual was slightly folded and crumbled to one side. I ignored this observation and proceeded to read the manual. A flood of information is presented and soon enough I started to notice and experience difficulties as well as my significant other also.
Within the manual itself, two worded observations: “hard water” under FILLING on Page 5 and “…is at your own risk and we accept no liability.” First off, hard water, I didn’t know what that referred to as I had to use the Internet to locate further information. The use of the wording should have been included as part of a Glossary or a Terms of Reference within the manual. And secondly in terms of the liability. This is for an attachment in which this product includes, a Scent Infuser, where you apply using any favourite scents, oils and fragrances prior to application with this product.
In my view, though I do understand where they are coming from, nonetheless there should be additional information within the topics to explain why and why not in relation to risks and liabilities. And then include additional words to the purchaser to review the warranty information located at the back of the manual on page 10 and 11 pointing to something specific, like for example, pieces of legislation. Section 1, subsection 5, et cetera. or something similar. Instead, it left me speechless and left me having to decipher what this meant.
So, fast-forward to the next stage, which is to take the clear plastic off and reading the manual as how to fill the water container located at the base of the product in addition to applying attachments. I did not have a good experience of neither.
Removing the container at the base, despite having visual queues on both sides of the container and after reading the manual, you literally had to squeeze from your finger and hand placement and apply enough pressure to dislodge the base.
Secondly, going backwards and forwards with the manual, you’re given an indicator as to where to fill the base from. The design and execution upon how to fill the water is poor, the diagram is useless where it shows a water container pouring liquid at about 20 to 30 cm from the base.
I think there should be a rethink in way the diagram is drawn. It should be replaced with a plastic measuring cup with a point spout so that it can be pictured and then imply further instructions. What I had to do was place it directly underneath the water tap and turn the tap on slowly so that droplets leading up to a small stream of water could be added directly. The removable rubber seal is finnicky that also acts as a liquid stopper to prevent liquid escaping or coming into the container.
However, what I noticed after filling to its indicated maximum level; it started to leak water at a different end of the container. I do not think that is part of the design feature, as mine started to leak droplets onto the floor.
Nevertheless, upon reattaching the container back to the main unit. I went into the laundry and proceeded to turn on the unit while in anticipation as instructed by the manual.
I then obtained some samples of bedding and business shirts for initial testing. Reading the manual concerning the attachments, I first used the matching attachment for bedding, where in this case was the upholstery frame. I attempted to attach the attachment and this is where the problem starts. Looking at the fitting / removing attachments diagrams, it seemed rather straight forward at first fitting directly onto the steam nozzle section along with an indentation at the top followed by a click.
And in this instance, it did happen, but… as long as the product remains upright at all times, the attachment do not fall off. If, however, you pivot upon an angle greater than say 15 degrees from 90 degrees upright to the right or left, it slips off. Apparently, to reconfirm whether the change of positioning on the attachment to the product, I tried all other combinations and other attachments… the same experience occurs also.
As a result, you literally must change the way you steam any of your garments or objects by hanging them upright or vertically instead of placing them face down onto an ironing board or flat surface. If of course upon the presumption that you’re going to use any of the attachments.
However, if you are not, then you can pivot to your hearts content and the steaming process works at any angle when used in recommendation by the instructions given. So powering the product on through a button on the back waiting for the blue light to illuminate, after a few minutes and shifting the trigger buttons at the front, you’re greeted with bubbling noises similar to that of an iron.
As an additional observation, perhaps its just my OCD, at the back of the product where the power button is situated, just below is the power cord. To me, both placements on the product looked off centred.
[The Pros(+) vs Cons(-)] The Pros(+) - contemporary and modern styling; - caters for women more than men due to the colour and chrome choices; - has a certain bling factor that is more fashion accessory; - is affordable from a price and entry-level point; - is compact like a hair dryer and I would care to assume will fit into most pieces of luggage or backpacks if this is something that needs to be taken with you for your steam needs.
The Cons(-) - taking the container off the product is tricky, you need to have good finger grip strength to force it off; - filling the water container is tricky also, you must place the container directly underneath a water tap to avoid spillage to fill it up slowly; the diagram in the manual is misleading. Alternatively, using a measuring cup with a pointy spout at the top is also sufficient; - the water container leaks – unsure whether this was a design flaw or the one I tested was a lemon - no physical customisation of settings and steam flow; - attachments will fall off as soon as you pivot more than 15 degrees to the left or right from being upright / vertical; - the scent attachment for me is rather gimmicky and not something I would use personally if I should own in the future other steam products; - not practical enough, you’ll have to use a long power extension cord or a power outlet close by to use this product directly on objects and surfaces. I would prefer a chargeable lithium-ion battery and not have to rely on power cables.
[The Final Thoughts] Going back to my notes above, I wholeheartedly believe that the value proposition of this product is more catered to women than men. Secondly, this an entry-level product and is affordable to just about everyone with or without a budget.
Though, if from a price point that you are on a budget and looking at acquiring something like this, then I would either look at hiring one for testing or temporary use instead of buying it outright and just use it for whatever you need to use it for and then giving you some level of satisfaction by the time you return it or if you are happy with how it performs before buying it outright.
So very similar to the old days where we could all go to the supermarkets and hire one of those steam cleaning machines to steam our residential carpets and return them afterwards. If you are still considering in buying one, such as this, do not expect it to do wonders for you, there are a great deal of limitations upon what it can and cannot do.
If, however, you are a buyer with no budget to worry about or a person looking for something that is more upmarket and overcomes the previously identified Cons above; then I would recommend avoiding this.
As for the questions upon whether this garment steamer can be used with different types of fabrics, the answer for that is yes; though because this steamer has operating limitations and you have to change the way you steam your fabrics, the user experience is finnicky. If you're not using any of the attachments, then I would say yes it does, however, there is no customisation to increase or decrease the steam flow.
As for the question concerning the water capacity, is excellent, but again, the hole is too small, the diagram from the manual is misleading, I suggested alternatives above and it container leaks.
As for the third and final question whether this item would replace my own iron; I would have to say no, it does not. It might for other people who are reviewing this product, but for me, no.
Overall, my thoughts are my own and based on my user experience with this product, I have rated the review accordingly. Thank you for reading.
Strong and powerful little steamer with multiple uses around the house – The Russel Hobbs handheld supreme helps to conveniently smoothing out creases on clothes without the need to set up the ironing board and get the iron out. Very practical indeed! Specially if all you want to do is smooth out the creases on one piece of clothing to put on straight away without the iron exercise. What I love about this steamer: -… Read more
One press button to turn on that doesn't need to be hold constantly to keep running. Having carpal tunnel on my hands, this is a big plus. - Safety features: Auto shut off after 15 mins if you happen to forget it turned on. - Hygiene: Steam is very powerful at killing bacteria and removing odours. It can be used to sterilize door knobs and I have even used to steam clean my fridge. - Fragrance holder attachments: I like to apply a drop of essential oil blends or fragrance for linen to the scent scent infuser attachment and refresh my bedding and pillows. Combined with the power of steam, it not only kills bacteria that leaves bad odours from sweating in this hot temperatures we have experienced this summer, but also leaves the pillows and bedding smelling so fresh. - Heats up quickly in less than a minute - Generous 3M long cord. I felt the length is enough for its purpose. The cord is covered in fabric and so much easier to tidy neatly and it has a Velcro strap to secure the cord neatly. - 6 minutes steam time: in my experience it is only enough to do 2 pieces of clothing if they are not very wrinkled, or 1 piece of clothing if very wrinkled. - Scent infuser attachments: not needed but definitely a very nice bonus. - Other attachments: delicates and upholstery attachment, lint brush
What could be better:
- Capacity: 200 ml water capacity only allowed me to fully smooth out wrinkles on one very creased garment, 2 garments not very creased. - Weight: weights 1.3 kg when empty, 1.5 kg with water compartment full. Not lightweight enough for me to bring along when I am flying because most hotels have an iron available. But I would definitely bring this along on a road trip.
Overall, this compact steamer does a great job and is very convenient and practical when getting rid of creases and wrinkles on clothes. One safety note: the head of the steamer does get very hot after use. Allow it to cool completely before touching the head.
Love using this as a busy working mum – I was kindly gifted this item to trial as a product ambassador- however I am under no obligation to speak favorably. I am actually quite excited to say how happy I am with this item, and it was exactly what I wanted after trialling and being underwhelmed by other steaming irons. The device is ergonomic, light and well designed. The switches are… Read more
easy to use, it is clear when the device is on or off, and there is an easy use trigger that can be set to lock and continue to steam. The cord length is great and allows for range of movement.
In the morning rush, having a quick option to remove creases from school or work uniforms is perfect to get everyone presentable for the day. It steams enough items for the morning with no issue.
I own a fair amount of delicate cashmere knitwear that lives folded, and ironing is often too rough on these fabrics. The option to not only remove creases but refresh and sanitise the clothing for another wear is perfect, and reduces damage to my clothes. It never ‘sputtered’ or leaked which I found with other steamers, which is beneficial on fabrics like silk that show watermarks.
I like the option to infuse scents with the attachments, and I have found limitless uses for steaming fabrics around my house.
It's a bit heavy and bulky for travel purposes but for household needs it has been amazing. Highly recommend and I would be unhesitant in purchasing this steamer again.

Did not perform as well as I expected. Not an Iron replacement. Best suited for delicate fabrics, Sanitising – I've always wanted to try a garment steamer, thinking I could toss my iron aside. I had not considered whether a hand held was a good option, but was excited to try out this Russell Hobbs Steamer. PROS: Very nice appearance / design, colour of navy and rose gold, nice if you want to leave it on a bench. Long 3 metre length cord 1800 watts power… Read more
CONS: As pretty as it is, I found this to not be a practical appliance.
Text on the steamer is barely visible to read ie.. Lock / Unlock button, Water fill line.
The toggle steam on continuous, or locked off, is awkward to operate. I kept slipping the button to the position I didn't want. It may have had something to do with holding the steamer in one hand continuously and slipping my finger on the toggle accidently, while using my other hand to move fabric being steamed .
Weight: Starting off is fine, but after one garment it became a bit of a strain to use, continually moving the steamer up and down - plus unlike an iron, you need to bend down to steam long items, ie pants, dresses.
Where to use it?? Instructions say to use a shower rail or door frame to hang item being steamed.... I have walk in showers, no rails, - and as for door frames, not practical as hanger just falls off when garment is moved. I don't want to add hooks to a door frame.
Water tank 200ml is small in regards to the large amount of water required to continually produce steam, thus tank needs to be refilled often. I do understand the small size is due to the appliance being totally hand held with attached water reservoir. Despite that, from a practical point,... I found the garments I tested on, required several passes to make any difference to removing creases, hence, I could barely get 2 garments steamed without refilling the tank. This would be an annoyance to continually refill the tank if steaming several garments in one session.
No jug supplied with the steamer. The opening for water fill is tiny. I tried using my filtered water tap and water just spilled everywhere. I ended up using a 500ml jug so I could refill without going back to the tap often. The attachments: I can't say I noticed much difference between them. I used all but the lint remover one.
Overall.... From my use, I determined that this steamer, is mostly suitable to silk, and similar very light fabrics.
It may be good to fresh/sanitise throw rugs or hanging curtains.
The steamer is impractical to use without something to hang your garments from - I used a tall candelabra that I have, I also tried my kitchen bench top and table..... really, I thought, I may as well get my ironing board and iron out.
The results after steaming, were minimal crease reduction, not worth the time and effort setting up the device, putting on attachment, then refilling often, trying not to scald myself holding folded fabric out. The steamer doesnt magically make stubborn creases disappear if you just glide over the fabric, you need to open out the folds.
I did hubby's work shirt, it minimised creases, but didn't have that 'ironed' look. I feel that you need to iron a work shirt to get crisp seams and smooth fabric. I can't even recommend this appliance for travelling _ having just returned from holidays in a hotel and caravan park , as I usually find,- mostly everywhere you go these days, there is an iron and ironing board in your room. I personally wouldnt waste precious luggage space packing a steamer. For a clearer understanding of my testing results with the Russell Hobbs Steamer, on different fabrics with attachments, please see my photos with comments, and videos.
I would not purchase this steamer for my purpose to use as a supplement or replacement of my iron.
I know others have had glowing results with this item, and I really wanted it to be the best thing, but sadly, it's not for me.
If I was to purchase a garment steamer in future it would be with a separate water tank, lightweight steamer hand piece and a stand to hang clothes on.

quickly, tackles wrinkles effectively and boasts handy features like a fabric brush and scent infuser, to get the job done, but what job?
We.found whilst it's not a full ironing replacement, it's a convenient option for those quick touch-ups, safe on delicate fabrics, a convenient weapon against everyday creases and musty odors. For us, we found the water tank size and portability weight of a minor concern to note.
Pros: Quick Heating: Heats up in just 45 seconds, saving you time compared to traditional irons, nice!
Wrinkle Removal: Effectively removes wrinkles from various fabrics we tested, including delicate materials.
Multifunctional: As mentioned above, it comes with attachments like a fabric brush and lint pad for added versatility, allowing you to steam upholstery, curtains, and even refresh toys, yet to be tested but will do over the coming weeks/months.
Continuous Steam: Delivers 30g of continuous steam for efficient wrinkle removal.
Easy to Use: Some will find it's a lightweight and user-friendly design makes steaming effortless, if you don't have a lot of garments to do at once. We did find the weight can be tiresome to hold if planning to do more than 2-3 garments.
Bonus Feature: Unique fragrance infuser lets you add a fresh scent to your garments while steaming. Nice one.
Cons: Limited Water Tank: The water tank will require frequent refilling for larger tasks.
Price: Compared to some basic steamers, the RHC410 falls on the pricier side but shop around and you should find under the $80 mark.

Not a heavy duty iron replacement, while effective for most wrinkles, it may not tackle deeply set creases as well as a traditional iron. More testing time will reveal.
Overall: We found from our initial trial testing that the Russell Hobbs Handheld Supreme RHC410 is a convenient and effective steamer for everyday use. It's quick heating, multiple attachments and user-friendly design make it a good choice for those who value speed and ease of use.
However, the smaller water tank, some reported potential leakage issues, which we haven't found as we kept it in an upright position. Higher price point compared to basic models might be drawbacks for some, so shop around.
Recommendation: We gave it 3.5 out of 5, as it has merit place in the laundry space, tho not an iron replacement, it's an ironing helping hand to the task. We did notice the steamer's ceramic plate retains heat a lot longer that an iron's soleplate.

I'm steamed I didn't try this ages ago. Great unit – I hadn't used a steam cleaner in the past so wasn't sure what to expect. I'm a diligent ironer of my clothes and couldn't see the need. But now having used it, I can see a niche for this which really appeals to me. I was less interested in how it can be applied to fresh-out-of-the-wash clothing because that should be ironed in my view, but for… Read more
clothing that you want to use again... and again, this really changes the picture for me. I travel a lot and frequently pack work shirts for 3-5 day stints away, with 3-4 shirts / t-shirts and two pairs of slacks (just in case you sully one of them somehow). This usually covers me adequately to stay fresh. With this RH device, I think I can cut that down significantly to less clothing IF I take this away in my case with me. It does an excellent job on my creased already worn clothing, basically restoring it to near new. The steam worked really well on creases and odour points. I was most surprised at the work slacks, shorts and jeans. They felt crisp to the touch once more. It isn't exactly a small thing so if you always throw your case in the luggage hold below, it becomes a worthy travel companion but I wouldn't try this with carry on though, too big. Great chance to wear your favourite clothes more often, less washing and possible dry-cleaning.
It's comfortable to use when doing straight steaming of stuff, hold it straight, lock the trigger and away you go. I did on numerous occasions scold myself and it doesn't tickle eg. when doing baseball caps, holding out sleeves and changing the water (pressing trigger by accident). I think technique comes with a lot of repeat use, to do this without the pain. I also used the multiple heads provided to see what they offer. The lint collector works but forces you into one direction only and you risk a scolding when removing the lint on the small pad, the odoriser imbued garments pretty well but I needed to play with just how much as my first attempt barely worked at all and you could overdo it. However, when I changed these heads, this was bothersome. The cheap and weak plastic lint, delicate / odoriser and furniture cleaning heads was the biggest disappointment. The clasp /groove system which catches them onto the unit is terrible. They didn't fit well at all, required a bit of a push and I scratched the paint off the top of the unit fitting them off and on. A slight bash onto something and they come off as well. It would have taken very little to improve these in my opinion and they seem like an afterthought.
I went through 3/4 to a full water reservoir per garment (shirt/pants). By the end of doing 20 in a row, I'm pretty sure I could have gotten it down to 3/4 for everything as I was being a little too careful probably. As the water was right next to me, I didn't feel this was a burden as it's quick to remove the reservoir, refill and refit. Unit remained hot and didn't require time to build up again.
I used the RH Handheld Supreme on a big range of work shirts / formal shirts, utility shorts, slacks, jeans and baseball caps all with varied fabric types and all passed the test for me, quite well. The power cord is really quite long, which is also excellent. For curiosity I also tried it on a shower door and found it was as good as a Bissell Steam mop! Didn't remove all the soap stuff, but neither did the Bissell.
Definitely a worthy addition to clothes maintenance, I liked it.

water refills. Despite the water tank's capacity, more extended steaming sessions necessitate periodic refilling. This minor inconvenience is balanced by the convenience of a 3-meter cord, providing flexibility and ease of use around my place. The quick performance of the RHC410 has made it a reliable choice for time-saving garment care, addressing the need for a hassle-free solution in daily chores.
Adding to its appeal is the thoughtful design, featuring an ergonomic handle and a swivel cord that enhances manoeuvrability. The inclusion of multiple frame settings allows for customisation based on fabric types, ensuring a gentle yet effective treatment for various clothing items. The RHC410 excels not only in its practicality but also in its attention to detail. much better than an iron! – Great to use, very powerful and works great. Only thing I struggled with is the weight of the steamer. I found that it is actually hard to manoeuvre because I think it gets heavy after a while when doing more than one garment. It does use a lot of steam however one tank lasted a few garments.
