0-12 months delicateeze and reflux formula what is best to give my baby after 12 months ol – Hi, I've had to change formulas from alula delicateeze to the alula reflux formula as it has been out of stock. But it is slowly coming back on the shelves. have noticed there is no delicateeze tin nor reflux (in any brand) for 12months plus. Is it safe to still give my baby S26 delicateeze 0-12month or s26 reflux 0-12months formula even though he… Read more

is 13 months old? Do you have anything like this tin for over 12 months old? Or what do you suggest going to ?

Out of stock – Hi, my little one has been on DelicateEze from birth and loves it, however I can not find any in stock. Everywhere has sold out and I am up to my last tin and it doesn’t seem like it will be restocked anytime soon. Is it going to de discontinue? If so can you recommend another one similar taste. I have tried Alula Gold and she won’t drink it. Show details ·  1

Is this formula thickened? – Hi my 3month old has had reflux and colic and constipation issues since birth, he’s currently on Alula Allergy, no confirmed allergy however doctor recommended to try and see if it helped after we exhausted majority of other formulas . It has improved him but nothing major I’m still needing to add feed thickener and I’m contemplating trialing him on the delicateze … is this formulation thick or will I need to continue to add thickener? Show reply

Only thing that Helped my bub – My bub was constipated with nan optipro (till 1 month age) and in pain on passing. Shifted to s26 gradually worked well till now (3 months age). Small changes like water needs to warmer need to add the anti colic straw after mixing (as suggested for all formula by bottle manufacturer- dr. Browns) but totally worth for my bub’s comfort. Poos are smelly but that’s alright. Show details

Absolute life saver! – I had bub on breast milk for just under 3 weeks and had to stop due to my mental health I tried normal Karicare and it constipated my boy so bad and then made him have mucous in his poo. He was in so much pain. My daughter suffered a similar thing so I put her on Aptimal Lactose Intollerant formula. So I thought to do the same with my son. I… Read more

suffer from lactose intolerance myself so I thought both my kids got it from me. Worst decision ever to put him on it. He was fine for about a week. But after 3 weeks of being on it, he was vomiting like crazy. Reaching his legs up to his tummy. Was absolutely horrible to see my boy in so much pain. And again was constipated.

I did some researching and I decided to put him on this formula. Best decision I've made. It works so well for him. He is calm and happy. Not in pain. No constipation. He is now 14 weeks old and will continue him on it

100% recommend – Took him a while to get use to it as it’s quite thick. Absolutely no side effects but a happy baby that has slept through the night from 9 weeks. I use the brezza so it’s made in 30 seconds perfectly. Highly recommend this to anyone  Show details

S-26 Alula Gold Delicateeze – We began using this formula when I had some supply issues. Bub took to it quite well, you need to mix it well with quite warm water otherwise it will go clumpy. I found it difficult to shake this with colic bottles with the spout. It would sort of just clump around the straw. The mix is on the oily side, it leaves a bit of a film on bottles. We… Read more

found bubs poos and vomit became smellier when using this product and poos were more runny. Overall it's been an ok product for us.

Rubbish – We switched to delicateeze from Novalac Constipation purely due to the price difference The only positive I can write is my baby took to the formula straight away. It absolutely stinks! Rotten, smelling It is very oily and hard to mix. My other formula you had to only swirl to mix.. this one you have to shake the absolute life out of the bottle… Read more

which is not ideal when you use anti colic bottles!!

My baby is so constipated. She is basically pooping hard green balls. Even with coloxyl! Her little bum is red raw from trying to get this out.

All she does is vomit now. All day everyday It’s not even spit up or curdled milk It’s clear, acidic, smelly vomit Before this formula she was never a baby who vomited much. Just a little spit up here and there

I have two unopened tins sitting in my cupboard I will be throwing out since you can’t refund on formula.

I feel like I’ve literally thrown my money out the window with this product as it literally does everything it says it doesn’t!

It’s 3:30am and I’m sitting awake with my baby who has just fed out of fear she will vomit in her sleep, again.

I can’t wait for the chemist to open in the morning so I can ditch this rubbish and go back to what we originally started on.

Worst formula ever! – We started this formula after a recommendation from the paediatrician. It promotes itself as being for constipation but that’s exactly what it caused in my baby who had never been constipated before. The formula is thicker and took longer to warm than other formulas we tried (Nan Supreme, Nan Comfort & Aptamil Allerpro) and often was still cold… Read more

after 5 mins in the bottle warmer. My baby went from drinking 100+ mls in other formulas to only having 70-80mls each feed and then started being well below her daily quota. It also has one scoop of formula to 60mls so you need to prepare 60ml increments and not 30mls like most other formulas. Definitely don’t recommend, suggest avoiding this one. It’s also made in Mexico and not Australia.

Product comes with pros and cons – Our baby had only expressed breast milk for the first 2 months. After having some health issues I made a decision to stop breast milk and convert to just formula. We tried Nan Supreme 1 it left bub constipated and crying in pain. Up to 5 days without pooing. So I spent many hours on the internet reading review after review, googling products when… Read more

I finially decided that converting to S26 Delicateze would be a better alternative and hopefully fix the constipation, etc.

After using for a couple of days bub was pooing more regularly (every 1-2 days) and not much crying from wind or pain. We thought it was a win for us as parents. Bub was gaining good weight, no vomiting, poo was really dark green (asked my parents they said its classic S26 poos, we were fed it when we were babies). Nothing to be concerned about.

But 5 weeks in and bub has started fussing after each feed, crying when passing wind (very gassy after a feed). Vomiting after each feed (only 10-15ml). Not drinking as much formula as normal (currently at 14 weeks old and having 120ml every 4 hours approx). Try to feed bub but spits it out and turns head from bottle. I read the tin and noticed its made in Mexico.

Have changed to an Australian owned and made formula, OptiGold. Have noticed a huge improvement in feeding, gas, vomiting. None are happening anymore. Poo is every 1-2 days, no crying from pain. Fussing before and after feeding time has stopped and baby is happier overall.

Its a shame the S26 Delicateze started off good but then went downhill.

Pros - helps with constipation - easy to obtain, most places stock it - great taste Cons - price (approx $26 for 850gram tin) - has to be mixed with warmed water, cant do with room temp water, goes very clumpy - makes bottles very greasy, stains bottles - use by date expires pretty close to when its purchased (make sure you check) - product rarely goes onsale ($$$)

Hopefully this helps future parents out there.

Happy but needs to be heated when prepared – My daughter has been mixed fed since she was 11 days old and suffered from colic until approx 4.5 months. We started on another formula initially but noticed it was causing discomfort so after doing a lot of reading it was recommended that move onto a partially hydrolyzed formula before removing the cows milk protein all together. We have been… Read more

happy ever since and will be staying on this until we can give cows milk at 12 months. The only downside to a formula like this is it needs to be mixed with warm water so we don't have the luxury of mixing it with room temp water on the go.

Works for us – This was our 4th formula change and I'm so glad we finally found one that worked for our mixed fed bub. We had major tummy/wind issues for his first 2 months of life but after a few days of switching to the s26 delicate he was a different baby. Even started sleeping through the night. 4/5 stars because it's a little pricey and leaves an oily residue in bottles making them hard to get clean. Show details

Amazing – We put our daughter onto this formula after 2 months of trying other brands. She suffered from colic and this was the only formula that helped reduce her symptoms. It was a godsend. She loves it and drinks every bit. She is still using it at 6 months. It's easy to use, mixes well. Its a little oily but not a problem. Can't recommend it highly enough. Thank you. Show details

Gave my baby bad gas and painful farts – Bad gas!!! My baby had colic which is why we chose this formula. At first I was very hesitant to give it to my baby because it literally smells like swisties cheese and I was use to bellamys which was a nice smelling one. But my baby liked it and put on weight so that wasnt a problem. It is also clumpy and needs to be shaken quite alot compared to… Read more

other formulas and its very greasy and hard to clean bottles. But the problem was It gave my baby really bad gas and really foul smelly farts way more than he had before and very painful farts aswell, this was a deal breaker for a colic baby. We have since changed to a goat formula and no bad gas at all.
