Sabco PVA Sponge Mop SAB62089

This product is absolute rubbish!! I previously had the sponge mop that used the grey sponge. I went to buy replacement sponges to find a new green version, that didn't fit the old mop. A great ploy by Sabco's marketing team to have consumers, in the midst of a cost of living crisis, spend unnecessarily!! I then had to go back and spend more money on a new mop just so I could use the sponges. There is little to no glue on the fitting that attaches to the sponge and I have now been through 3 sponges in 3 months, in a little apartment. I even tried repairing with a hot glue gun to save me going back to Bunnings just so I could finish the floors. This is a terrible experience and one that will stop me ever buying a Sabco brand or any other brand associated with Sabco ever again.

The design of the mop is the only good thing about it. The handle, although it it extends is too short. Is almost entirely made of cheap plastic. The Sponge, although squeezes out most of the water. Doesn't leave the floor as dry as you would expect. Decor used to make a similar mop, but has now discontinued it. And the sponges were absolutely amazing. Maybe Sabco needs to rethink how cheap they are in the making process. Have now used this mop for 4 weekends cleaning, and the Sponge just peeled right off. Need to find some way to fix that problem. I was not happy and didn't have a replacement at the time. It obviously goes to show just how cheaply these were made with no real regard for repetitive use.
