Australian designed and made! Ripper of a bucket – I do a lot of soaking. Previously I achieved this by filling up various smaller buckets then transferring soaking wet clothes or cleaning cloths into the washing machine. The Strucket is a large bucket with a strainer basket inside. The basket lifts up and rests on a ledge in the bucket for easy draining. It also has a drain at the bottom which… Read more

can be used to empty water into the sink. It pops out so you can empty into the sink while the bucket is sitting in there, or you can have the bucket on the bench to the side of the sink and empty through the pipe sitting over the sink.

If you do hand washing, this bucket is brilliant. You can pump the basket up and down to agitate and wash. Rinsing using the strainer basket is also super easy.

The 19L bucket fits in most laundry sinks but would be too large for many kitchen sinks.

Other uses:

-Washing toys or tools (Eg gardening tools, hairdressing combs and brushes) -Washing fresh produce -As an ice bucket (easy to drain melted ice and easy to lift and drain bottles or cans) -Washing dishes or clothes while camping -Dyeing clothes

I also received a 4.5L mini strucket as part of a set. It is quite small but would be great for soaking smaller things (Eg socks or undies or a few cleaning cloths) and for washing small produce like berries. The mini isn’t big enough for every day family laundry but great for small items.

There are so many pros but here are a few things you might need to consider before buying:

-It takes up most of the laundry sink. You really need a faucet you can swivel out of the way after filling unless you have a faucet that has good clearance over the sink. -As it takes up a lot of room, you can’t really use the sink while the Strucket is in there like you might be able to with a smaller regular bucket -The Strucket is very heavy when filled with water and clothes. You can’t really lift a full Strucket onto the bench to drain, you have to let it drain while sitting in the sink. -The 19L does not come with a lid but you can purchase them separately.

If you use reusable nappies, do a lot of soaking, wash all your fresh produce, like to hand wash or enjoy camping then this bucket will be great for you. If you search Strucket on YouTube there is a good short video showing you how it works.

Excellent customer service and brilliant design – The strucket is a brilliant design and has so many uses. It’s great in the laundry for soaking and I’ve also used it while camping as a sink/drainer. The bucket I ordered developed a large crack down one corner of it. I contacted their customer service and they promptly sorted out the issue and have sent out a new bucket. Show details

I didn't think I could love a bucket this much – This product was clearly designed by someone who hated handwashing for all the usual reasons, but who had the wherewithal to do something about it. So far I've used it to wash a few woollen jumpers and a bunch of baby toys and it was a fantastic experience. The clever-yet-simple design takes the pain points out of handwashing: no more hand cramps… Read more

from trying to squeeze the water out of big heavy wet woollen things, you just lift the strainer and click it into the side then leave the rest to gravity! No more trying to tip the water out of the bucket while frantically scanning around for somewhere to dump said wet things then accidentally tipping the water everywhere - you just pop the bucket in the sink or shower and release the plug. Voila!

I'm embarrassed by how much I love this bucket.
