I paid about $550 about 2 years ago which included all cabling and curly cord connector to the car for dual camera with audio (so you can hear what people behind your trailer are saying). The camera with the narrow angle shows following vehicles back down the road (similar to using a standard in-vehicle flat mirror) and when you switch to the wider camera its like a standard wide reversing camera good for close-up things. Ask for seniors discount if that applies to you.

I have a Winnebago motor home and need to replace the rear/reverse camera. My current camera stays on permanently so I always know what is behind me, which I like. However, I would like to be able to also switch it to mirror option when needing to look in the cabin if needed. Can you help me with the best camera to do this and will it connect up easily to what I already have. Thanks in advance Paula:)

In January 2021 I paid $560 which included a seniors discount. That covered the dual camera, the rearview clip on monitor and the curly cord hook up to the car and all cabling. I bought it to direct from external link Edit: What I bought are the dual cameras that go on the back of the caravan and one is for wide angle like a reversing camera and the other is a narrower one that stays on for seeing way down the road like your rear view mirror. It's one tap on the monitor to change between the two.

Can I wire this on back of caravan with a disconnect junction at back of car and have camerra on all the time so I can see who I see behind me when driving forward?

I have been using the SD 7" rear vision with 2 cameras for a couple of years now and found it very effective and easy to operate. Easy to switch between the two cameras and the number plate camera is great when hitching up to your caravan. The other point about this product is the excellent technical support the company offer. Suggest if you are using the mirror in very hot sunshine you wrap the display in some reflective insulation if it is exposed for lengthy periods of time as the temperature inside a car in Qld can be over 50 degrees c.
