Samsung 611L Side by Side SRS61 Series Questions & Answers
VerifiedHi I've got an srs610dhss and it's been running for about an hour now, both sides started at 18 deg, the fridge side is down to 9 deg but the freezer is still at 18?
I removed the back panel from the freezer and there's no frost at all on the evaporator, the fridge side evap looks good, covered in frost, is there something which switches either side off and on? Seems strange that one side should work but not the other? Any help would be appreciated, thanks
My freezer not working properly not cooling unif. Any ideas?
Possibly the fan, put your ear against the side of the fridge and open the freezer door, you should hear a fan stop when you open it, then close it again, after 3-5 seconds you should hear it start up again, if not replace the fan,
I'm only just connecting the water up. Plumber can't find where the hose hooks into? There doesn't seem to be anything on the back?
Hi Sarah, You will need to remove the lower silver panel that runs from both sides be sure to put all the screws back onterwise it will rattle and from memory it is on the right hand side looking from the back of the Fridge towards the bottom.
Cheers John
Where does the water and ice filter go?
outside the fridge inline with the water supply. We have it mounted in the cupboard near the tap.
What's wrong with my samsung fridge, when I open the door i smell like a dead rat?
Sounds like old food has gotten in somewhere. Mine has no smell at all.
I have just had my new Samsung 611l side by side fridge delivered and installed. Can anyone tell me if this fridge chills water or is the water from the dispenser always going to be room temperature?
The water is slightly below ambient depending apon the fridge setting. If you want really cold add ice. But it should be cooler ours is cooler by 8 degrees
